The Ballsbridge is a good place to stay in Dublin. Despite being a large hotel the service is good, the bedrooms are clean and mostly spacious. The breakfast has all you need and is good organised even if its sometimes getting crowded. It´s a 25 minutes walk to downtown Dublin or there are also public buses near the hotel available.

A great place to stay we enjoyed the friendly staff and the food was good. Our room was clean although old it was a pleasant stay. We enjoyed the hop on off tour around Dublin Oscar Wilde sitting on his rock, the amazing Guinness factory was a good visit. All in all we loved Dublin and the hotel.

My wife and I stayed at the Ballsbridge Hotel for one night in August 2016. The check in staff lacked attitude and really did not make you feel welcome. When we had breakfast the next morning, there were no sausages and rashers and when we asked when they would be in the serve over unit, we were told - on the...

We recently stayed here for a hen party in August. The hotel was an ideal location- just a short trip in a taxi from the station and into town. As part of our package we had both dinner and breakfast, both of which were lovely. The staff were so friendly throughout and cannot be commended enough for their good fun...

I had a conference in Dublin, at Dublin Airport. I tried to book hotel near airport, but thez were booked. I ve noticed that hotels in Dublin are extremely expensive. Thus,I was forced to booked hotel which is far from airport. On footh, Ballsbridge hotel is 30 minutes distance from the city centre or 2,5 kilometres. Staf is from the...

Stayed one night in an amazingly comfortable bed with great pillows and duvet. So soft. Disappointed that the double room was in fact two 3/4 beds pushed together, and only joined by the sheet. Uncomfortable to sleep in the middle in the crack so ended up sleeping in just one of the beds. But very comfortable. Hotel looked old and...

Stayed here for two nights. Check- in was efficient and smooth, for us one of the hotel's asset is the Reservation Manager, Bernadine, so professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Rooms are spacious and spotless. Its location is wonderful, easy access to city, by bus or taxi or a 20 minute walk. This is a gem hotel. Well worth a visit. Lourda

After lowcost holidays going into administration we found this hotel 2 days before we were due to fly and i'm so glad we did! The hotel itself is beautiful, georgeous decor, decent sized rooms, very clean and in a brilliant location. The staff were very helpful and friendly and do everything to make sure your stay is top class. The...

This hotel was clean and had a smart modern finish. The receptionists were really helpful and let us check in at 12pm rather than 3pm which got our holiday off to a great start. There was a lovely big choice for breakfast and food was of a good quality. We didn't eat any other food at the hotel but they...

We booked a stay at the Ballsbridge at the last minute. It has great transport links to the airport with a coach running direct each hour and stopping right outside the gate. We did not arrive at the hotel until 11pm and the staff were helpful enough. The rooms were clean enough and had a nice view of Lansdowne Road....
