I arranged a group of 15 gents for a stag weekend to Dublin and came across Egans whilst trawling the net for good group prices.

Housed in a large home this Guest House has excellent and very helpful staff. Breakfast is also very good. The Bus stand is not to far and a taxi ride to City Centre is 10 Euro.

I think the City Centre Hotels like Jury's Inn may be a better option to be honest at that time of year for the sake of a few euros per person and you are at the centre of things whereas Egans is a bus ride away
