Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The location cannot be beat-within walking distance of most of Dublin's major sights. The room was small but I knew that when I reserved my room. I'm a large guy and size can be an issue! The room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable (the bed was large). The staff were super helpful and pleasant, even when i showed up groggy from the overnight flight!

This is a beautiful, smart, tasteful ‘eco’ hotel a bit similar to the Citizen M hotels, but more tasteful/classy in the rooms themselves (and without all the communal space that the M hotels have.) My two friends and I hunted high and low for the best hotel or airBnB in this area and honestly were SO tickled to have found this great hotel. It is in the absolute beating heart of Grafton street but tucked away on a quiet side street. I’m already planning my next trip to Dublin and will stay here again for sure.

We dined at the Wren Urban Nest as a group of 30 for a school year end thank you meal to staff. We dealt with Shannon and Darren and Alan. All the staff were incredible and Shannon is the ultimate professional. She had printed our school great on our menu and arranged a special 3 course meal with the chef to cater for our needs. Wonderful attention to detail. The food was delicious and so tasty. At the end our guests asked to come back next year. What a tribute. The icing in the cake of course is the commitment to sustainability and modelling how all businesses should operate in a world where we must protect our environment in order to survive. Well done Urban Nest for leasing the way.

Came here for a one night getaway and was not disappointed from start to finish. The location could not be better; smack bang in the centre of Dublin with great bars, restaurants and sights all within walking distance. This is primarily why we chose this hotel. Check-in was at 3pm but we arrived early at 12:30. The guy at reception was so helpful (didn't get his name) but he offered us the option to check in early if we paid €20 which we did. He gave us a fantastic room on the 7th floor away from the lifts so we had a fantastic quiet nights sleep. The room was small and quirky but impeccably clean and well decorated. Despite the small size it didn't seem cramped and there was plenty of room for storage and to move around. The toilet and shower rooms are separate to each other but both are very roomy and the rain head shower was really good also. There's a mini bar and large flat screen TV in the room also. Had some drinks in the bar, which were reasonably priced given the location in Dublin. Try their Negroni its amazing. The bar area is really nicely decorated and you do feel you are away somewhere abroad instead of in the centre of Dublin. Breakfast isn't included and is €20 a head unless you pre-book the night before and its €16 then. We had breakfast the following morning and the selection of food was great, from the usual Irish Fry to fruits, cereals, cold meats and cheeses to pastries. Didn't however like the way that the guy who pointed us to our seats asked me for a tip when we were paying, that's all he did pointed to our seats and was looking for a tip? The only issue I have with this place is the price; all in between the room rate, early check in and breakfast it was around €430. For a hotel that prides itself on sustainability none of the savings being made by this mantra are being passed on to the guests. Id stay again but only if I got a good deal.

Hello Hannigan, Thanks for taking the time to rate and review your stay with us. We appreciate the excellent rating and exhaustive feedback whereby you virtually touched all aspects of our operations. We are pleased to note that our staff went above and beyond to satisfy your wish. However, we are taken aback by the assertion of a colleague requesting a tip from our guest. We are at the service of our guests and indiscriminately deliver the same service standard with or without a tip. We will discuss this together with your other concerns within the team, as we look forward to welcoming you again. Kind regards, Wren Urban Nest.

Excellent location quirky/sustainable boutique hotel in the centre of Dublin. The staff were great and the food was too & exactly as described . Reasonableish price considerering the overpriced hotels in this area.

Stylish hotel in an excellent location in Dublin. It is down a quiet alley but just steps away from everything in downtown Dublin. Clean room and bathroom. The restaurant looked lovely too but we did not get a chance to eat there. Staff was pleasant and kept our luggage when we arrived early.

Rooms and decor were modern urban with eco vibe. Cosy but excellent room, with all you need (plugs in the right places, pull down workspace, quiet, black out blinds, super powerful rain shower). Can't common on room rate value as we were on a business account. Usual mini bar silly prices so didn't try anything from it but everything looked locally sourced. Brekkie was £17 pp if booked the night before: a serve yourself buffet which was excellent for the continental options and average for the cooked options. But you only get one coffee included, which at that price is a bit mean - why not offer bottomless serve yourself filter coffee and tea, and then offer one barista coffee? Also having newspapers to read would have kept me happier - but that's my view as a solo traveller. Friendly staff.

Room Tip: Some rooms had mini bars and fridges - some didn't. Maybe ask if you want one?

Excellent hotel and location. The rooms are very modern and clean. The staff are very friendly. The only thing was the coffee in the room which is undrinkable. The after taste is pretty bad. The room was ok on size, a bit on the small side, but the bed is very big and comfortable. We had a double room for my friend and I.

Hello Wander, Thanks for taking the time to rate and review your stay with us. We appreciate your excellent rating and exhaustive feedback. Our free room amenity organic coffee, just like the tea, has been very much appreciated by our guests. However, we have taken note of your concern which will be discussed within the team. Looking forward to welcome you again. Kind regards, Wren Urban Nest.
