Point A Dublin Parnell Street is a comfortable and welcoming base for guests, located within walking distance of Dublin's best shops, bars, and riverfront. Opened in 2022, the hotel has plenty of guest lounge and workspaces, as well as Moore Lane, the first cafe bar in the Point A family. Yes, you can get a pint of Guinness as soon as you arrive. Other features include fast and free WiFi, plenty of power points, and 24/7 hosts to help you feel at home during your stay in Dublin. The daily continental breakfast buffet is extensive, with a healthy and hearty selection to please all tastes. The bedrooms are fresh, modern, and full of useful essentials: five star beds, mood lighting, TVs with Chromecast, coffee and tea making facilities, and plush towels.

Point A Dublin Parnell Street Hotel garners praise for its prime central location, making it a hit with those looking to explore the city. Guests commend the hotel's spotless, modern rooms and the friendly staff who often go the extra mile, despite occasional lapses in professionalism. The chic atmosphere is a highlight, although the cozy rooms are mentioned as being on the smaller side. While some guests appreciate the value and complimentary breakfast, others point out the limited room amenities and storage.

Had room 709, a corner room with 2 windows, the view out over the north of Dublin was excellent. The room was compact with twin beds. We both only had small bags as we were only there for 4 nights, if we were there for longer or had bigger suitcases it would have been a real squash, there isn't a wardrobe in the room, just 6 coat hangers on button like "hooks" on the wall and a small cupboard with shelves in next to the bed nearest the bathroom. There was only 1 double plug socket next to the bed nearest the bathroom and none next to the other, I found this a little annoying for me, I had the bed next to the window, I was glad I took a power pack to charge my phone next to me overnight, there is another double socket in the little cupboard/shelf that has the kettle on it but it too far away from my bed, both sockets have USB sockets on them, there is a hairdryer, I don't know how efficient it is, I didn't use it.
The bathroom is also compact but the shower is good, plenty of hot water and Dove soap and shampoo is provided and nice fluffy towels.
Breakfast which was a good continental selection, wasn't included in our room rate but at 12 Euros it wasn't too pricey.
When we checked out I discovered the top 2 floors, 7 & 8 were only finished 2 weeks ago, very new.
All the staff were very very friendly and extremely helpful, they are all an asset to the hotel.
Overall, in my opinion, a good choice of hotel, good central location, modern, clean and value for money and excellent staff. I would stay there again next time I am in Dublin.

The place is really very beautiful, the location is perfect in relation to the most interesting central points and it is still on a main road which is very well connected by buses. The main Dublin O'Connell Street stop is practically 1 minute from the hotel.

We found the room in excellent condition, it is comfortable and perfectly soundproofed.
There are digital controls for do not disturb, control for the lights both at the entrance and positioned above the bed while the air conditioner is connected only to the panel at the entrance.

The bathroom is a little small (in fact the glass door of the shower is very large and if opened it reaches in front of the sink) but perfectly manageable. The bathroom door is made of opaque glass and does not completely close the room from the bathroom but has a half centimeter opening on the sides.

But it is still very beautiful, welcoming and the bed is very comfortable, you sleep very well!

The breakfast is very abundant: both sweet and savory!
The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly, they are all very kind!

Our stay at Point A Dublin was nothing short of exceptional.

From the moment we walked through the front doors we felt the genuine warmth and charm of the people that looked after us, right till our final farewells.

Upon entering our immaculately spotless room we found a personalised note and treats welcoming us to what we would call our sanctuary for several days. Needless to say, those treats didn't last long.

The room itself isn't overstocked with unnecessary amenities. Instead, it boasts mood lighting, 5 star comfortable beds, air-conditioning and ethical shower essentials - all of which added a nice touch.

Breakfasts wasn't overbearing at all. Freshly baked pastries whiffed through the lobby as we entered the breakfast hall, and freshly prepared cut fruit, yoghurts and grains/cereals satisfied our morning cravings.

The ambiance of the hotel suggests that this establishment is more than just your average hotel. It doesn’t have corporate blues or purples palettes that are dull and dreary; instead, the natural wood, green plants and gold accents imbued with chilled music elevates the senses and gives it’s upmarket boutique feel.

To end, we’d like to express our gratitude to the people and teams that rolled out the red carpet for us; Patrick and Alex, Julia, Maria Rosa, Jason, Eileen (sorry if I spelt that incorrectly), Victoria, and the rest of the wonderful people who make this hotel a haven, a warm and big thank you from us to all of you . You have made our first trip to Ireland a treasure to remember and made us golden girls feel like a stars - a spectacular effort!

Let and Flor.

It was second time in Dublin and I chose the Point A this time around. I stayed for five days in August and would highly recommend. The hotel is on the North Side of the city and about a 10-15 minute walk to all the attractions on the south side. There is a grocery store around the corner for snacks, water, etc. I opted for the breakfast option and it was good, I've had better but as always it was nice not to have to worry about breakfast. It's great to eat, have a coffee and head back upstairs to get ready for the day. You can also get a to go bag if you are on the run. The room was small but perfect for one person, the bed was comfy, the shower was great and it had Dove soap and shampoo. There are plenty of options for food and pubs in the area and it's very close to all public transportation on O'Connell street (buses and Luas). I also recommend paying the extra $15 for the ability to check in at 12pm. It saved me after not sleeping well on my flight! Will definitely choose the Point A again if I find myself back in Dublin.

Excellent location in heart of Dublin's north side. Relatively new and clean hotel. The room could not have been any smaller. It was the size of a large closet. There was nowhere to store luggage. No desk and only one chair that has to be stored folded against the wall. Not enough well positioned electrical outlets near beds. Lacked basics such as no Kleenex/Tissue in room, no towel racks in bathroom, two towel hooks.... one was broken. Automatic lighting and climate system are errible and unpredictable. Lobby staff was very friendly but not very knowledgeable about Dublin. The bar staff was untrained, slow and not very pleasant. Breakfast is basic buffet style but good. You could not charge drinks from bar or breakfast to your room. We would not stay here again.

I wanted to still have a nice experience staying in Dublin without breaking the bank as I was traveling solo. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. The rooms are smart, modern and super clean. They are small, but I was just sleeping and showering/getting ready here and I felt I had more than enough space. The hotel felt safe and was in a very central location without feeling too noisy or busy. The staff is incredible. I arrived super early on my check-in day because my flight had landed early. While they didn't have a room ready immediately, I was given coffee and croissant and made to feel very welcome sitting in their beautiful lobby watching Netflix on my iPad. They did their best to get me into a room as soon as possible and I was so appreciative. The hotel is really cute and I would definitely recommend to friends and consider it for my next visit.

Fantastic hotel, recently refurbished and perfectly positioned for all that Dublin offers.
I can't praise this hotel highly enough.
We had a three night stay booked in a hotel quite far out and then this hotel popped up for less than I was paying for a hotel quite a distance from the city centre.
Easy quick find off the airport bus and check in was perfect. Immediately a good impression from staff and reception.
Room on the 6th floor, tucked away at the back, nice and quiet, twin beds, very clean and comfy. Spotless toilet and shower, light controls very good, heating and air con.
TV was great, you could connect your netflix etc from your tablet or phone when resting after walking all day. Good WiFi, coverage great.
The hotel is at the top of Parnell Street, absolutely ideal spot for exploring, short walk around to O'Connell Street and everything spanned off from there. Lots of info in reception, helpful staff, good cleaning, nice cafe bar. If I could give it 6 out of 5 I would. Go,you won't regret it.

Absolutely couldn’t fault this hotel. The location is just perfect for a trip to Dublin . All the rooms are high tech touch points which gives it a futuristic modern feel. Shower and amenities included were all great for our visit. We didn’t have breakfast as we were up and out on at Patrick’s day but we did have lunch the following day and the food was reasonably priced and tasted great. If going for st Patrick’s day again the location is great as the parade was a 2 min walk away in the next street.
All the staff were so friendly and helpful and you can drop your bags off before check in if needed.
We will def be returning to this hotel and highly recommend.

This hotel has left us feeling awfully unsatisfied, we arrived on Monday for a few days away following our wedding on Saturday ( a mini moon if you will).
My parents booked the trip for us and emailed ahead to tell the staff this was our honeymoon, we were placed in a room over looking a back alley with no wardrobe space and no fridge.
When I went to the manager she gave us one drinks token each for a three night stay and moved us to a room with exactly the same amenities, the pillows are flat and you only get one.
The manager also told me, “we are not a boutique or 5 star hotel” however when you look on booking.com the first line is “budget boutique hotel” so staff may require updating.
Tuesday morning we paid €12 euros each for a continental breakfast that doesn’t even include toast.
Avoid at all costs

Thank you very much for taking the time to review your stay, whilst disappointing to read, I do appreciate it. Guest care, is something we pride ourselves on, with customer satisfaction in excess of 90% since opening, we enjoy celebrating our guests milestones with them, whether weddings, birthdays or anniversary's we love to mark the occasion. I have looked into the email sent in advance to the hotel, which was actually a note placed on the booking reservation 15 minutes before you arrived to the hotel, this we did not have time to action and hence why the manager on duty offered you a drink to toast your nuptials. I do believe that the vast majority of your dissatisfaction is the variance between your expectations and what we provide. Our rooms do not offer a wardrobe nor a fridge nor do we claim to do so. We are a budget boutique brand and proud of what we offer. Affordable, clean rooms in great locations with all a savvy traveler requires for a city break. On our website and all channels of booking our room guides are clear and transparent of that. We moved your room not to upgrade amenities as all our rooms are kitted to the same standard but to give you a different vista as you were not happy with the view. Wishing you and your partner a lifetime of happiness and congratulations again on your wedding Patrick Linnane General Manager

Lovely little hotel in a great location in central Dublin, plenty of shops and amenities nearby, easy enough to get to wherever we needed. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, had everything we needed for a few nights stay (even the shower was very powerful). Staff at the hotel were all lovely and kind and very helpful.

The only small improvement could be the breakfast selection - would have loved a cooked option as well, but understand it may be a space issue (the breakfast area is quite small).

Otherwise, a lovely place I’d stay at again and recommend to friends and family visiting Dublin, too!

I have stayed in this area quite a few times but mainly for shopping trips. It's a two minute walk to O'Connell Street and if we do venture out at night I prefer to stick to the main roads as I feel safer there. I have family in Dublin and visit frequently so I don't overthink it. Incidents have taken place in various areas in Dublin, but like every other main city, just be vigilant. The hotel itself has a beautiful/ reception bar area if you don't feel like going out at night.

No they are not large twin beds! The beds are comfortable. Not much space between beds and window! The bathroom is nice size but when you open the door to the shower it is tight between the shower and the bathroom sink! The room is clean!
