The Hotel itself was OK but it wasn't up to the standard I was paying for. The bath was dirty, The room was cold and we were unable to turn the heat up. One night we were woken up by noisy youngsters swearing shouting and slamming doors at 2 in the morning. The management didn't even understand that we had...

The Hotel decor has a certain charm to it - the staff were very friendly and the bed in the Suite was one of the best beds I've ever slept in. Very good free WiFi and the food in the restaurant was very well presented and not too expensive.

I was here on business and didn't get to spend a whole lot of time in the hotel. The room was comfortable, relatively spacious by European standards. The bedding and bath were well appointed. The only objection was that the electrical outlets were not ideally placed for doing some work. There were work arounds, but I mention for anyone needing...

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Location is just outside the centre in a quiet area about 5/7 mins walk from Grafton Street and 8/10 mins from Temple Bar. Good sized rooms with decent bar and helpful reception. Breakfast was included which was buffet style, unfortunately some minor issues in that the scrambled egg was only luke warm on...

A quick trip to Ireland from Chicago for the 12 Pubs of Christmas Crawl meant finding a venue within walking distance to pubs. While The Alexander is a bit further away, it fit the bill and in fact has a terrific restaurant/bar across the street. I was hopeful our mid-morning arrival found a room ready, but it didn't. And the...

Staff couldn't have been nicer. They were very accommodating, even well into the night for those of us who couldn't adjust to the time difference - or perhaps just coming in late from the pub. Hotel was surprising quiet - even as they hosted various Christmas and holiday parties in their ballroom downstairs.
