Dirty as hell afraid to use bath. Like a fancy hostel wouldn't call this place a hotel. Furniture so old and ruff. Charged me twice for parking when I had it black and white on my statement. Wpuldnt give refund. Over priced for all you get and WiFi doesn't even work.

I went with my daughter to this lovely 'cool' venue for Sunday Lunch/Brunch. My daughter who keeps an eye to all 'hip' places to eat was impressed by the Menu and the 'humour' with which the Hotel and Cafe appeared to be run ! We arrived and were quickly seated whereupon a Menu with Breakfast and Lunch dishes were quickly...

Lovely hotel which was friendly, clean and warm. Not that close to city but no problem with a hopper bus pass. Bus stop right outside and taxis back at night cost around 13 euros. Comfy bed not too noisy.

Don't really like to whinge but our room was up a flight of stairs opposite reception so we had noise from midnight till we got up so not restful, reception staff lovely no faults there but room was shabby with a wooden fire exit door covered in cobwebs and gaps with visible light through door frame thankfully not windy outside,...

My partner and I stayed here for one night. The staff are very nice and helpful. Our room was great for the price and the bathroom was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We had no problems whatsoever and would happily return here again. The guest handbook is highly entertaining. Ideal place to stay for people with a...

My best friend and I visited Dublin for a week last summer. The stay in Charleville Lodge was so nice! The staff was incredibly nice and whenever you needed anything they would get it for you. Also, there is a bus stop literally in front of the hotel, which is convenient. We had breakfast at The White Moose Café, which...

Booked at the last minute for myself and my 2 year old Son as we were due to catch a ferry early the next morning and needed somewhere to lay our heads for the night after travelling from Galway by coach. €29 for a room with a double bed for us, en suite and coffee making facilities. Bargain! Also we...

I was so impressed with this place. It doesn't try to market itself as anything above it's station! The guest handbook is hilarious, as is the menu downstairs in the adjoining cafe. Bed is comfy, shower is good, room and bathroom clean. €10 to Coppers in a taxi. Plus the rate was so cheap for the location. It's defo my...

Although we enjoyed our stay here we have had problems since leaving. We paid 50 euros cash ' key deposit'. We forgot to ask for this on checking out - it wasn't offered by staff. We left at 8am on 14/12/16. Since then we have been trying to get our deposit back. Although both staff and management have acknowledged they...
