The location can't be faulted: right in the centre of town. But it's a hotel that's showing its age. The green glasswork outside looks good, but the floors are uneven, the floorboards creak, the lift is falling apart and it's very hard to regulate temperature in the rooms. The wi

Stayed here Friday 23rd November and never again. The noise was unbelievable, I recgonise this is not the hotels fault but we were not warned at check in and the room had absolutely no soundproofing whatsoever.Horrendous night with no sleep at all.We contacted reception at 140 am

Recently stayed in this hotel with my partner as we were attending an event in Dublin. The hotel is in the best possible location, the name says it all, very central. The reception area was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the receptionist was lovely. Nice old style feel t

I had two nights here for a quick business trip to Dublin. At the same time I wanted to meet up with a friend for drinks and do some shopping so this hotel really had an excellent location. Walk out the front door into Exchequer Street and there are loads of restaurants, pubs in

I enjoyed the central hotel - as a female solo business traveller, the central location was perfect as I felt very safe walking around by myself, even when returning to the hotel late at night. The room was comfortable, and the wifi was very good.

I went to the library bar - ver

Firstly I love the Library Bar and general atmosphere, it's an oasis in the city. However never stayed here. I have some guests arriving who are concerned about noise having read reviews. Are there any quiet rooms or is it a general issue?? Is is actually that bad?
We asked for a quiet room away from traffic and as requested we did not have traffic noise, instead we had the noise of the extraction or something like that! Our room looked right out onto it.

Does the hotel have laundry service? If so how much?
I don't know but this hotel was disgustingly dirty. Our rooms had holes in the carpet and stains all over the walls and chairs. We had 2 rooms and both were absolutely gross. Our toilet didn't work. I have traveled to 13 countries in Europe and this was the one and only bad one. When we told the staff they agreed it needed a "refurbishing". Not it needs cleaned. Don't waste your money. Once in Ireland we saw a lot of nice hotels.
