Stayed for two nights, it was a six nations weekend. They had suspended normal £160 rate, charged £333 per night. For that: no lift, no room safe, no hot shower, postage stamp towels, knackered furniture, charming but clueless staff and an air of past it’s sell by date. To be avoided at all costs.

this hotel is really basic, nothing luxurious. We wanted a cheaper option that it was not very far from the center. I read on other reviews that the music was very loud but for the 2 nights we stayed, it did not bother us. Some parts of the floor are noisy when stepped on it. Bed was comfortable.

The male receptionist that checked me in was horrible. The whole place is old and dated. IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP! I could hear EVERYTHING from the room above (very squeaky floors!) and could also hear people on the corridors. Please, do not underestimate how noisy this place is! It's BAD! If you want a good night sleep, do not stay here! I sent them 2 emails complaining, as I paid to sleep there, but got ZERO sleep (had to wake up at 2:30am for the airport) and heard nothing back from anyone. I was so stressed out trying to sleep, this was probably one of the worst nights I ever had in a hotel. Stay away!

Room is fine, a bit tired, but noisy floors above and around us. In hindsight I wished we would have been informed of the dinner / party option as I only read about it now on TripAdvisor. There are two flights of stairs and a bit of a rabbit warren of rooms and corridors but it was fine for us.

Stayed here with my daughter for a recent concert, the hotel decor is dated but is very clean. Our room- No55, was very small, but comfortable. Apart from the unbearable heat. The windows only open so far. We got dressed early in the morning to avail of a nice walk to cool down. There is no lift so wouldn’t be accessible for some. We didn’t eat in the hotel, but the bar below was excellent and very hospitable. Would use as a base in future but not for an extended stay. Great base for anyone attending concerts in the Aviva.

Stayed here while attending an event. Good value for money they didn't put the price through the roof like other Dublin hotels. Check in was quick and the room was ready. The man checking us in wasn't friendly. Room was good size, clean and comfortable. Shower good. Tea facilities to. Got drinks in the bar friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Lady that took our order was friendly. Juices, cereals, crossiants and scones were good. Frys and eggs. Was tasty. Checking out was quick lady smiled and asked what room where we checking out of. Hadn't much dealings with staff as we only stayed for an event. Good value for money. It's kind of like a town house rather than a hotel. Could do with refurbishing.

So, we stayed here in early May but the weather is Dublin was relatively hot on the days we were at the hotel. There is no AC, so we had to keep the window open all day and night- I never even thought to ask about that when picking a hotel. The price for our room, though, was good and it accommodated 4 adults nicely. The check-in dude was really quite crabby, but later in the day the staff seemed nicer. We had one meal at the restaurant and honestly had pretty poor service- I do think the waiter was new, but I can't recommend the restaurant based on that experience. We were there for a two night stay and it fit our needs and was a good value, however I would likely try someplace else on my next trip to Dublin.

Great location just a short walk to the main town/city centre. Would say around 15-20 minutes. Spacious rooms and the staff are lovely too. Didn't use the amenities so cannot comment on these nor cannot comment on the breakfast as we didn't eat here.

We where 3 guys that was spending the weekend at Landsdowne Hotel for the Ireland - Italy game. We arrived on the Saturday the day before the game and we felt so extremely well received by the staff down at Den Bar (which is the pub in the basement of Landsdowne Hotel) so it became our base for the weekend. The staff Ray (bar manager) and Ali (bartender) was wonderful and really looked after us for the weekend. Ray even lent his own jacket to my friend because he misplaced his the night before the game. What a legend! The place was amazing on the match day and the stadium was a short 5 minute walk away so it was a natural place for people to meet up before as well as after the game. Thanks Ray and Ali for making this an absolutely amazing weekend.
