Myself and the wife stayed here on Friday night with a total price of €125 for b&b 2 course evening meal and cocktails...I don't know how they're making money with this deal,it's for nothing.
I can't fault the hotel at all.rooms are lovely, food was beautiful and the pints were great.
From Ann on reception to pedro in the bar all the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us.
I would highly recommend this place for a night away,we will definitely be back soon.

I've worked in the hospitality industry for years, have visited many hotels and have never come across more friendlier staff than the staff at Lansdowne hotel. From the woman at reception who went above and beyond her usual duties (even standing outside to get taxi's for other guests) and the accommodating bar staff who found us a table on a busy day and even ordered for us- we had a platter which was delicious and just what we needed! The hotel itself was nice and the rooms/ facilities were more than enough for our stay, with a little coffee shop outside in the carpark. I would definitely be coming back to this hotel in the future.

We where 3 guys that was spending the weekend at Landsdowne Hotel for the Ireland - Italy game. We arrived on the Saturday the day before the game and we felt so extremely well received by the staff down at Den Bar (which is the pub in the basement of Landsdowne Hotel) so it became our base for the weekend.
The staff Ray (bar manager) and Ali (bartender) was wonderful and really looked after us for the weekend. Ray even lent his own jacket to my friend because he misplaced his the night before the game. What a legend!
The place was amazing on the match day and the stadium was a short 5 minute walk away so it was a natural place for people to meet up before as well as after the game.
Thanks Ray and Ali for making this an absolutely amazing weekend.

Stayed for two nights, it was a six nations weekend. They had suspended normal £160 rate, charged £333 per night. For that: no lift, no room safe, no hot shower, postage stamp towels, knackered furniture, charming but clueless staff and an air of past it’s sell by date. To be avoided at all costs.

My daughter had booked and paid for this hotel for herself and 2 daughters to attend the upcoming pink concert on 20/06, unfortunately she cannot attend due to the death of one of her daughters, it just dosent seem right. she emailed the hotel and explained the situation but was told as she had booked a non refundable special offer deal they would not refund the stay. (This special offer deal was £415 euro for 1 night). Really hard to understand how it was a special offer when they are offering the same stay on different dates for £197 Euro. No compassion given, absolutely disgusting customer service.

I booked because of ease of access to the city centre and value. I would be out for most of the stay and so it was somewhere to lay my head. Rooms are dated but functional. Food was very good, I had a steak dinner and breakfast the next morning - both were very nice!

My only complaint was that the room was very very hot and trying to cool it down was difficult. I had the window open wide from the moment I arrived to the moment I checked out because I turned the radiator off but it stayed hot.

Very friendly reception and clean simple not luxurious room but with everything that is needed for a stay. Not far away from busstations so the center of the city is easy and cheap to be reached. The price of a room is acceptable .

So, we stayed here in early May but the weather is Dublin was relatively hot on the days we were at the hotel. There is no AC, so we had to keep the window open all day and night- I never even thought to ask about that when picking a hotel. The price for our room, though, was good and it accommodated 4 adults nicely. The check-in dude was really quite crabby, but later in the day the staff seemed nicer. We had one meal at the restaurant and honestly had pretty poor service- I do think the waiter was new, but I can't recommend the restaurant based on that experience. We were there for a two night stay and it fit our needs and was a good value, however I would likely try someplace else on my next trip to Dublin.

A lovely family run and friendly hotel in the centre of Dublin 4. Reasonable in price, lovely food menu and great for a pint. The hotel is the perfect location for a match or a gig at the Aviva Stadium as you are in walking distance.

The hotel is very well placed for a lovely walk into town along the canal and the park to Grafton Street etc.
For a rugby weekend the hotel is great position to walk to the stadium and Irish musical send off & return to celebrate or commiserate ! Atmosphere is good staff very welcoming and keen to make your stay enjoyable.
‘House Party’ nights a great success with pre show meal if wished and an unforgettable Irish dancing extravaganza.
Comfortable beds in nicely furnished rooms.
Enjoyable stays over many years.
Mick, Helen, Anne, Jimmy, Ollie, & Brendan and all the rest of the friendly staff thank you

You can catch the bus 702 or 703 from the airport to Ballsbridge. The hotel is just a few metres walk from the bus stop. I did not find a shuttle bus specifically for this hotel at the airport.

Answer from elaine f

It will take 20 to 30 minutes walking but there's a 39 or 39a bus stop around the corner on Waterloo road which will drop you very close to Temple Bar (in case it's raining!). Will cost €2.85 (as of 1st January 2018)
