This summer & fall I stayed at the Harrington House Hostel on three separate occasions - in early July, mid July, and early October. The first time was with my parents (80 and 85) and my sister, brother-in-law, and their two children (11 & 14). The second time was myself and my two parents. The third time it was just...

Airport bus stop right out front was nice. The walk to downtown was a bit long - about 20-30 minutes depending how fast you wanted to walk. But there was food/stores/sights to see much closer to the hostel. The rooms were clean and decent sized. We are a family of 5, so ended up in 2 rooms. The rooms were...

We spent 3 nights in the Harrington House Hostel. Staff was really nice and also the area was quite central. Unfortunately it's really loud. You always hear when a door was slammed and when people were talking in the hall. Also, you just have hot water for a certain period of time, which is really annoying when you get home...

I had a nice stay at the Harrington House Hostel. The staff was very nice! The room and bathroom was very clean. The location is great. Very centrally located and it's very easy to get to and from the airport. At times the other guests could be a bit noisy, also because the wood floor creaks. Although, the guest were...

We enjoyed our trip to Harrington House. The staff was friendly and helpful. They checked us in early. The breakfast was very good. The common areas were clean and comfortable. The price was very good. It was within walking distance of St. Stephens Green, Shopping, Cafes, Trinity College, the National Museums, and other attractions.

A nice, clean and friendly hostel in a convenient position to visit Dublin and easy to reach from the airport with the bus (number 16). I stayed there one night in May in a room on the first floor. It's a hostel, not a five star hotel, but it is clean, friendly and very convenient. The staff were very helpful...

It is well located, near the city centre and with a bus stop (16 - airport bus) in front! But the room was very small and the hot water was limited to certain times of the day... The beds were confortable and it was very quiet at night. The breakfast was just toasts and cereals.

“Room with private bathroom and nice view.”

“Room 1 at the very top of the hostel is quieter in terms of street and within hostel noise. It's ideal for a couple or solo. Larger family rooms are in the basement, which are also a bit quieter. I had one room on the second floor facing the main street which was definitely the noisiest in terms of street noise and hearing other people moving around the hostel.”
