Absolutely wonderful, the staff are lovely, friendly and so helpful! The hotel room was very tidy, clean and big. My friends and i stayed for a couple of nights and will definetly stay here again- and the bar staff make the nicest cosmopolitans and mojitos!

Stayed in the hotel for my third visit, this time with my two adult sons. The Hotel is full of character and a stones throw from both Temple Bar and Grafton Street. The Guinness served at the bar is one of the very best! Food is also pretty good. The Hotel is undergoing a welcome major refurbishment at the moment,...

Mercantile Hotel (which is the new name of the place ) is an old cosy place very well located close to Trinity College which was the place where my business was . Scaffoldings are surrounding it at the moment which make the location difficult to find. The reception staff is smiling and efficient. As I came for working, nightlife was not...

The bar staff are friendly as are the receptionists. Nothing was too much trouble. Being able to leave your luggage in reception is a good service. One tiny quibble - the breakfast...

I stayed here with my girl friend last weekend, this hotel is in the best location ever, 30 seconds from Temple bar. We enjoyed the place so much, the staff are nice and professional, bars are lively and food was nice. We will be back again when up in Dublin

I have to say that I've very mixed feelings about this establishment. Whilst it is indeed convenient and cost-effective my experience there this weekend was not ideal. When asked upon booking a time of arrival I had specified 2pm. As we then took a later train we didn't arrive until 4.30pm... and our room was not ready. We were asked...

This hotel is so close to everything. I found staff to be more than friendly and helpful. Ok the decor is not the best i have seen but the rooms are clean, bed comfortable and sheets wear spotless... i would stay hear again as you are walking distance to the whole city. Loads of bars nearby. i will be back!!
