Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We always enjoy our time in the Hilton Dublin. For our most recent overnight we stayed in one of the renovated rooms, very impressed with the size of the room and the decor, bathroom was pure luxury! Lots of water left in the room for us and nice tea/coffee facilities. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We had lunch in the bar, food was really tasty and good value. Breakfast has a good selection and service was great. Best location for a hotel in the city. Within walking distance to Stephen green and the luas is right at the front door. Highly recommend, will stay again.

The hotel is ideally placed - an easy walk (30 minutes) to the Aviva Stadium and a short walk to St Stephen's Green and into the centre. It was good to be away from the hubbub of the city centre. Our room was very comfortable and absolutely spotless. What really sets the hotel apart is the exceptional team of staff. We had initially booked for one night(through a third party booking platform), but due to our flight home being cancelled we had to stay for a second night - booked through Hilton. This was handled with ease by the front desk and every staff member seemed to be well informed. Thank you to all at Hilton Dublin!

Vick who was behind the bar made my night. His smile is so infectious, he was so friendly and very attentive. His manner was so professional and elegant he made me feel like he was serving the queen. He had great conversation and made me feel so comfortable and after a long day at work, he made me feel so relaxed like i was at home. Vick showed great interest in his customers without getting too personal. As a woman in Dublin City centre, I would normally be wary of bar staff or strangers but instantly I felt warmth and trust with Vick, to the point I would go for a cigarette and leave my handbag and phone on the bar counter knowing Vick would be there keeping his eye on it. By the end of the night with his banter and fun we conversed more. He is most definitely the truest and kindest stranger I have ever met in my life and he has made a great positive impact in my life. Kind gentle soul is how i would descibe him. He loves what he does and that makes all the difference to me as a customer. Thank you Vick for being you. I highly recommend Vick takes on a higher status and should be promoted to a manager. I have seen him teaching the new staff on how to make the perfect cocktail but also on how to present it to the customers. You can see the pride and joy it gives him going the extra mile for his customers. Truly the best ever.

This hotel was in a safe, walkable, central location. Our room was spacious and confortable with a lovely view of the canal. The Charlemont Bar and Bistro on this Hilton property was outstanding! Jay and his staff immediately greeted us with kind hospitality. The atmosphere was warm with low lighting, and trendy moody music (later amazing live music!). The food was high quality and delicious. I had the Salmon and my daughter had the Pad Thai - both were especially tasty and hit the spot for weary well-travelled foodies. Jay recommended the perfect red wine for me - not too pricey and bold yet smooth. I also want to mention (as a Hilton Diamond member) this restaurant stands out from most hotel on-site restaurants we have visited. Thank you so much Jay and team!

Great stay in this hotel. Central location beside Luas stop and taxis. Room was modern and spotlessly clean with great Wi-Fi. Reception staff were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely return and would highly recommend for a stay in Dublin.

There are better places to stay in Dublin than this Hilton. As a Diamond status member I was upgraded to an executive room on the 5th Floor. It overlooks the train line into Dublin and a building site. You can hear every train. The room is small, dark and features a double bed and a single bed. Even with all the lighting on it is dark and dreary. The bathroom is also small. WIFI is fast. No water in room as per status. Upon asking to change rooms, Carlos on reception made frequent trips back and forth to speak with his supervisor Cecilia Gines who advised no other king bed executive rooms were available despite them showing as such on Hilton Honours webpage. When asked for a refund so as to check out, this was also unavailable. Avoid this place. Dublin has numerous better hotels with no train station outside your window.

This Hilton is located in a great location in dublin. Excellent WiFi though out. Check-in always excellent and rooms well maintained and facilities are great. Staff are extremely helpful and attentive. Unfortunately the food can be very hot & miss. Choice is good and reasonably priced. As for arrival of food can be disappointing. If the kitchen and quality matched the rest you’d have one of the best Hilton offerings in dublin.
