Great welcome, really made to feel important to them. Very nice room with good bed and shower. Food was wonderful, plenty of choice and excellent quality. The bar and restaurant staff were cheerful and helpful.
We had the pleasure of staying at Schoolhouse Hotel on our recent trip to Dublin. The hotel staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Schoolhouse Hotel was conveniently located in a quite, safe neighborhood that was within walking distance of central Dublin and most tourist attractions (Trinity College, Temple Bar, Grafton St.). Our rooms were recently renovated and were clean, comfortable and fairly spacious by European standards. The gastropub inside the hotel was so convenient for a quick pint and a lively place to enjoy in the evenings. The breakfast included with our stay was bountiful and delicious and served with a smile. We would highly recommend staying here should you ever visit Dublin!
Exquisite in every way !highly recommend this place to any one . Classy ,appreciative , mannerly ,international staff. Relaxed Outdoor and elegant indoor dining . Lovely atmosphere . Would come back in a minute☘️
The Schoolhouse Hotel is a very unique stay, in a good location, with an amazing team to assist you during your stay. From the inside of the restaurant and bar you can see the unique design from it's former purpose as a schoolhouse. The staff in the restaurant and bar are all friendly and attentive. The location of the hotel is not too far from the city center and has good access to a bus stop if you prefer not to walk. Many of the rooms (and soon to be all rooms) have recently been renovated providing a pleasant and comfortable stay. The front desk staff are truly amazing and will take care to tend to your every need. They assisted with the typical requests of mapping out places to visit and eat. It was upon our departure that their kindness truly shined through. My wife and I were low on Euros and running late as we had ordered a taxi to take us to the airport. The taxi arrived and told us they would not take credit card. We inquired with the front desk if we could charge our card and get some Euros for the taxi. A gentleman who was associated with Schoolhouse Hotel though I'm not certain in what capacity, without hesitation generously gave us 20 Euros to help get us on our way. We tried to let them charge our card but they insisted it wasn't necessary. We will definitely stay with the Schoolhouse Hotel if we make our way back to Dublin. It is a unique hotel with comfortable rooms and an amazing team to assist you!…
I have been staying at the Schoolhouse for 20+years and even have a favorite room that I request. The Schoolhouse Hotel is always a delight! Clean, quiet and most conveniently located in a very nice area of Dublin with easy access to City Centre and other venues. Staff has new faces over the years, but always friendly and welcoming. Food, whether breakfast, gastro bar or restaurant, is excellent. I cannot consider a trip over without staying at the Schoolhouse Hotel!
Clean room. Good service. On the bus line that provides easy access to the city center or short walk to train station. Aviva stadium is about 10min walk as are other restaurants and pubs though the hotel provides a good bar and dining options.
The Schoolhouse restaurant is a popular place! Lots of seating inside and out. If you are looking to sit outside, be sure to request when making a reservation. Lovely part of Dublin close to city center.
We spent 3 nights at this very pleasant hotel. Our room had just been refurbished and was lovely, Bed was very comfortable and plenty of space. Excellent shower. The only thing that wasn't so good was that I left my favourite t-shirt in the room and didn't notice until I got back to the UK tonight. I would think as it's just a t-shirt it will have been binned. Still that was my own fault. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. Good location too.
Just stayed Friday night to go to the Gate Theatre. We got lucky with a sunny March weekends and wandered up the canals which are just across the road. Staff friendly, rooms immaculate and a very tasty breakfast. This place is a real find with a pleasant garden, good location for the centre and a charming building.
Great venue for the Rugby days. I came and talked to the Bar manager about booking a table and he couldn’t be more helpful as he passed over details to Aine. Despite them being fully packed, We were still allocated a table outside. The place was packed yet the service was impeccable. Food was 10/10. Will definitely visit again and fair play to all the staff and kudos to Ryan. He’s very attentive and made sure all of us were well looked after.
