Your best bet in Dublin. Just off the bustle, but a short bus ride away (bus stop right in front). Stately without being smug. Elegant, comfortable, and the best service. You won't be disappointed. Nice neighborhood too. I really recommend eating at The Farm around the corner.

My stay was 4 nights. I felt welcome and very comfortable. The service was very pleasant, breakfast was exceptional. Waterloo House is just steps off Baggot street which has many services and a couple of very nice restaurants. Easy access to buses and cabs too. A very enjoyable stay.

We got Waterloo House recommended by an Irish colleague. Since we were going for a conference, we also sent the link to this hotel to other colleagues. Altogether, 10 colleagues ended up staying at Waterloo House for four nights (they have 19 rooms altogether). We really loved it!! The atmosphere is very personal - for instance instead of entering a...

My husband and I recently stayed 4 nights at Waterloo House. We arrived early in the morning from our flights from California. Patrick greeted us warmly, checked us in, stored our luggage, and offered us breakfast and coffee/ tea. Even though we were so early, we didn't feel like we were in the way. We freshened up and took off...

I loved the feel of this place but it is an older building and is not in the center of Dublin. I felt that the location was a plus to avoid the noise and hustle and bustle of town. We were able to walk to most downtown attractions and enjoyed the neighborhood where this property is located. The rooms are...

the breakfasts were great but the service was even better. When we booked our stay here, most of the reviews we read were all about the breakfasts which were exactly as described - a beautifully presented buffet of meats, cheeses, fruits, yogurts, freshly baked breads and cakes and an actual menus of entrees as well. What no one spoke of...

We stayed in Waterloo House for three nights upon our arrival in Dublin. Staff was very welcoming. As we arrived early morning, our room wasn't ready, but we were able to leave our bags in a secure area while we ventured out into the city for a walkabout. House is within walking distance of Dublin city center, excellent restaurants, and...

The rooms are very comfortable and amenable. The breakfast and the breakfast room are beautiful. The hotel is in a nice, suburban location within a 30 minute walk of the city centre. It has lots of good restaurants and pubs nearby.

Clean hotel, with character. Very helpful staff for nearby bars restaurants, and it's in a great, safe location which is walking distance from St Stephens Green (10 minute). Full spread breakfast to get you set up for the day, with cafes and stores close by. Highly recommend staying here

My husband and I came to Dublin for the first time and we traveled with friends. We all enjoyed Waterloo house and would definitely return. Evelyn greeted us warmly and arranged for us to have breakfast right away since we had just arrived from an overnight flight. Great neighborhood, wonderful beds, delicious breakfast. The house is very pretty- lovely front...
