Initially put off on arrival by a surly receptionist who seemed to treat people as if they were criminals coming into custody and not paying guests. The eve receptionist however was lovely and the first one had improved as I was leaving. My room was beautiful, I'd have happily stayed in it 24/7 had I been able to. The facilities...

Dear Brian, We are delighted to hear that your stay with us was enjoyable and that you appreciated the style of the hotel. I have passed your comments to the staff here and I am glad that you found the room well equipped - some showers are not mixing showers so the pressure can not be the same as for...

The location of this place is the top selling point. It is on a relatively quiet street, but easy walking distance to all the things we wanted to do in Dublin (St. Stephen's Green, Grafton, music). There is a good but noisy Italian place across the street with great coffee in the café. Breakfast was good and the staff was...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your kind review and we hope that we will have the pleasure to meeting you again. Just one thing I would like to mention for future bookings and to help other guests in this regard: we only have a sitting area in our Deluxe Rooms not Classic Doubles. I wish you all the best. Despite the above and change of room…. we enjoyed our stay. On mentioning the rock hard pillows to the receptionist we were told that the next time round when booking we should ask for soft pillows. We would like to stay here again so hope they can accommodate us! A message for a previous occupant of room 19 - we found,...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review and we are glad that your stay with us was enjoyable. We will definitely consider a pillow menu in the future as at the moment we only have orthopaedic ones - so the guests will be offered a choice from now on. We hope that we will have the pleasure to be welcoming...

Dear Guest, Thank you for for review. I would like to address your comments as follows: -I have already explained in the previous responses that due to the historical value of the buildings we are not allowed to install a lift. Trinity Lodge is not a modern hotel and it is very clear from our description on-line. Our guests are...

I booked this establishment based on the information online. It was listed under Hotels and had 4*s. The Hotel sign outside the door as photographed on the web said Boutique Hotel (this has since been removed). So while I was expecting a quality Boutique Hotel, a quality Guesthouse in the center of Dublin would also have suited. It is definitely...

Dear Guest, I would like to say that 99% of the review is inaccurate - based on the perception of all our guests - including reviewers( not the management). I would also just like to mention that you have made threats by e-mail before posting it that if you do not receive a full refund you will post a bad...

We recently spent 3 nights at the Trinity Lodge and found it very comfortable and convenient. The location is pretty quiet, yet still very close to the shopping areas and sites of the city. Our room was located on the 3rd floor, which was the only downside to our experience as there are no elevators. Breakfast was divine and freshly...

Stayed here for 3 days when in Dublin. The staff is very service minded, helps with everything and always smiling. They also arranged a cake and surprises for my fathers birthday. The ala carte breakfast is great, you have everything close by. Walked everywhere. The standard is ok, but absolutely value for your money.
