Trinity Lodge is very welcoming and within the city center. The inclusive breakfast is made to order and very satisfying...more than the standard variety. Our receptionist was very friendly and helpful...gave us travel books to study (forgot mine at home) and had a drawer full of adapters (we needed one with a USB) for us to borrow, and gave us...

Having stayed in many of the top hotels in Dublin ... it was a surprise to find this little gem of a townhouse hotel which was right next to Trinity College and of course Georgian Dublin It's small with only 26 rooms but was nearly full house with visitors from Europe and the US It's really based in 3 Georgian...

Stayed in one of the buildings across the street from main Trinity Lodge check-in. Up one flight of stairs, room was comfortable with large bathroom w/shower, coffee/tea making kettle, free wi-fi, no view though (of construction site) but we are out all day and view doesn't really matter. Breakfast is excellent with wide choice of freshly cooked dishes, not standard...

We were given a very large room which was unfortunately located in the basement. Windows looking out on walls and not a lot of daylight, disappointing and uncomfortable. I would have liked to have been informed of that beforehand, might have paid more for a room above ground. That said, the beds were very good, we had lots of space...

Dear Kvhb, Thank you for your review and I am delighted that you enjoyed our location, breakfast and some of the room's features. We have some rooms on the lower ground floor (not basement as they have windows) and some of our guests will be allocated in them - if no requests are made regarding the room allocation. Should you...

Reading through the reviews and gauging the price, I thought this would be an ideal hotel for a 3night stay. Sadly I was wrong......it's just a B&B....not a Hotel as advertised on a "Booking Site." 45 stairs up to our "Classic" room, luckily Chris carried our case. The room & bathroom was very small and the shower had a "burn"...

Dear Caesar D, Thank you for your review. I would like to clarify your concerns as follows: We do not advertise the property as a hotel, nor Booking.com does. We are listed under guesthouses. Trinity Lodge does not have a lift either which was mentioned previously several times. In some rooms, the en-suite would have 2 separate taps for cold...

In heart of Dublin location is a perfect base. It is not a normal hotel though but a series of buildings on the road. In our case our children were in a different building which was a bit frustrating. So if you expect all the structure and amenities of a hotel probably not for you. A good room in a...

Dear halebrennan, Thank you for your review. Indeed Trinity Lodge is spread over 3 Georgian buildings as mentioned before. While we try to keep all group bookings together as you may understand sometimes is not possible due to a limited number of rooms especially during busy periods. We are glad that you enjoyed our location and the rooms and we...

the property is in a great location, close to everything, yet on a quiet street. the staff were so helpful and nice, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious~~ the rooms are a bit worn, but we had warmth, clean beds, and a nice bath, a desk and the makings of tea in the room... what more could you want??
