Kilronan House Bed and Breakfast is in the beautiful quite Georgian quarter of Dublin city centre just one minute from St. Stephens Green and downtown Grafton Street area. Built in 1834, the guesthouse is comfortable period house that still features its original cornicing, Waterford Crystal chandeliers and ceiling roses. The staff at Kilronan House pride themselves in spoiling their guests with true Irish hospitality and excellent customer service. The National Concert Hall and Dublin's main cultural and historic sights including Trinity College, The National Museum and National Gallery are within a short walk.

We've stayed here many times over the past few years. It's a gorgeous house in a great location, ideally suited when attending a gig in town or going for day's shopping in town. The staff are excellent, the house is spotless, the breakfast very good indeed and the beds very comfortable. Can't fault Kilronan House!

This is a fantastic bed and breakfast. The staff are the most welcoming and hospitable staff of any hotel I’ve stayed. Imagine sitting in a parlor by a warm fireplace sipping Irish coffee, tea and fresh scones. The breakfast is a proper Irish breakfast that will set you up for an exciting day of sightseeing near city center. There are wonderful pubs, restaurants and shopping close by. The rooms are average size by European standards and are cozy. This place is a treasure.

Nice quiet B&B. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice with plenty of choices to suit all. The smoked salmon and poached eggs were very tasty. Staff were very pleasant. Would go again.

Ideal spot for visiting Dublin. Nice and quiet area. Close to the tram line or around a 20 min walk to the centre. Room was very clean and staff were friendly. Wasn’t overly keen on the breakfasts but it’s included in the price so can’t complain! Would stay here again

We had a nice stay here , staff were friendly and efficient . We were in room 6 in the building next door which was a serious hike up many flights of stairs , it was ok for us but def need to request a lower floor if you’re less mobile . We basically only used it to sleep so it was fine for us . Breakfast had many options but was in a small room we felt we had to rush through breakfast so that others could sit down in our place . At one point I was still eating the lovely yoghurt and granola and it was almost snatched away so we hurried off 😂. Position is quite good too . I feel it was fairly good value for what we paid in comparison to others in Dublin .

Amazing historic property incredibly well preserved and updated. Sadly becoming overwhelmed by towering modern building around it. Staff was incredible! Loved the location just a 10 minute tram ride from the city center so quiet nights for sleeping. Excellent included a la carte breakfast.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for five nights at Kilronan House. The staff were welcoming and warm, and the breakfasts were excellent. And we liked the ambiance of a Georgian house. For couples, make sure to book a room that's large enough to move around in comfortably. Our first room was so small we couldn't pass each other around the bed--and forget about setting a suitcase on a stand! Other than that, the rooms were beautifully decorated and clean. Excellent location near St. Stephen's Green and all major sites.

We were seeking a family room within walking distance to everything but not in a busy nosy area and this was perfect. Breakfast selection was great and plentiful. Beds were comfortable and shower/bathroom was clean.

Our stay at Kilronan House was a pleasure. The gentleman at the front desk helped us with a very heavy suitcase and was gracious and attentive. We ordered our breakfasts from a varied menu and all the food was excellent, hot and freshly prepared. It's walking distance to all the Dublin attractions and the new Dublin Express bus stops a few blocks away for easy access to the airport.

Kilronan house is a gem. The location is fabulous - within walking distance of everything you want to see and do in Dublin, yet quiet and peaceful for rest. The buildings are lovely and the breakfast (prepared on request) is perfect. The rooms are a little small, but the linens are divine and the showers are amazing. We actually stayed here twice in one trip - it was that good. The common areas are also delightful. The best thing by far was the manager, Romi Gutu. When we realized we couldn't get into Kilmainham Gaol because tickets were booked far in advance, he went on the website early in the day and when they released tickets, came and told me to "book now - they have openings". What amazing service! When we go back to Dublin, we don't plan to stay anywhere else. If it's available, stay here! And they provide parking!…
