The Maple Hotel is in a great location in Dublin and you can easily walk where you need to. It is reasonably priced and we even had great wifi! However, our room was so filled with the noise from the street below that we barely slept. Even with ear plugs and headphones you could hear every person and car and...

I'll start with the positives! The location of this hotel is great. We weren't able to book the hotel we usually do as the rugby had places booked up well in advance. We chose the Maple as we knew where it was and we could visit all the places we like within a few minutes walk. It's also easily reached...

We stayed at the Maple for two nights in February. The price was very reasonable for the three of us and the room was clean and well presented. The bathroom needs some work, hot water was sporadic though the shower had a plentiful supply of hot water even if it did sound like a circular saw! It is in a...

Stayed here after a concert in 3 arena - I wasn't expecting much as I only payed €44 for the night. Pros: - Clean rooms - Comfy bed Cons: - Shower didn't really work - LOTS of stairs - Bad area - Lower Gardiner Street is a good location but a bad area, wouldn't recommend staying around here for tourists.

Stayed one night while in Dublin. Nothing special. We were on the top floor, that's a lot of stairs. The room was ok but the bathroom needs help. There was no hot water in the sink. The shower was really small. Needs an update. The beds were fine for the night. Left early in the morning to head for the...

On entering the hotel it seemed average, were happy with what we had paid for it. However on walking to the room we had to walk back outside to find our room which was a small area filled with people smoking. We managed to find our room to find their was heating restrictions, January in Dublin is freezing and we...

There was no hot water supply in the bathroom sink. I told the staff about it on the way out in the morning. When I got back in the evening, one of the staff told me some convoluted yarn about getting a plumber out, and the plumber being unable to get a part, blah blah. [It sounded like Basil Fawlty's...

The hotel is a bit rough around the edges, but for the price a good buy. I have stayed in more expensive hotels in Dublin but Maple fits the bill. It's really central to O'Connell street and 10 minutes walk from Temple Bar. Some rooms are bigger than others, but the rooms are clean and adequate. Save your euros for...

We are currently staying here at the moment. Wonderful little hotel to use as a base whilst travelling in Dublin. Friendly staff, the room although basic was lovely and cosey. Highly reccommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cheap but decent stay right in the heart of Dublin
