Beautiful hotel. Quick check in and check out. However, to pay €250 for a room in dublin without working wifi (one of reasons I booked) and no breakfast included, I think it's too much to pay for a hotel outside city center

Living in Westmeath and working and studying in Dublin for the last two years has meant needing to stay in Dublin the odd night to take away the pressure of commuting sometimes 6 days a week. I love Clontarf Castle, the ambience is great, it is very clean and near enough to the city centre if you wanted a night...

This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. Modern décor with an ancient twist. Renovated in 2006 but looks like it was done last year. Very comfortable rooms with great facilities. Wi-fi is mixed in quality though. Very friendly and helpful staff. There was a mistake made on booking.com (I entered the requirement of 2 adults + 1 child...

I love staying at this hotel as I am originally from clontarf so it feels look like home from home. We just checked out this morning after a 2 night stay. After having stayed in the Temple Bar area it was a nice to stay in a quiet and clean hotel. The rooms were newly renovated and modern. The pub downstairs had a great atmosphere with the best service I had In all of Ireland. The food was good with huge servings. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

You have the best of both worlds as Clontarf Castle is near the coastal region of Dublin Bay. We took the DART to Howth, a wonderful seaside town 20 mins away. We also took the bus to the city centre which was about 10 mins away. Such a relaxed atmosphere in this hotel and the hotel bar was great for...

We stayed here en route to the US and we're so pleased we chose this hotel rather than one in the City Centre where there are a multitude of roadworks. It is a lovely converted castle with all modern amenities and luxuries. Charming service Highly recommended

We had our wedding here last Saturday, from start to finish the staff were fantastic. Our guests also agreed how attentive, friendly & professional the staff were throughout the day. We are so happy we chose Clontarf Castle as our wedding venue. The food was superb and the wedding team had everything planned so well, it was perfect! Thanks
