We felt very comfortable there. Yes, we had a room toward the back where at times it was noisy because of recycling, etc. if the window was open, but we didn't stay in the room that much. The surrounding area is very pleasant and peaceful but still very close to the center of Dublin. There was no need to have... More

Staying in this castle was an absolutely, utterly stunning experience! What a beautiful place to be! The rooms are exquisite, the housekeeping staff thorough and polite, and the nooks and crannies wonderful. We dined there and found the food to be excellent. This castle was actually a nightclub in the 70s or something, so the decor is either ultra sumptuous... More

Absolutely perfect! I attended with a bridal party and just home from the wedding there too last weekend the 12th September. Service was amazing. Cormac & Clare were very professional, informative and friendly. Food at the afternoon tea & wedding was fabulous, really really nice! Beautiful romantic location, will definitely be back!

This is a memorable place to stay, as it is a visually stunning hotel. Parts of it certainly give you the feel of being in a castle, with suits of armour in the lobby, mounted stag heads on the walls, pheasants hung up, large tapestries hung from the walls, large old fireplaces etc. It was very popular with American tourists.... I had high expectations based on the positive reviews of this hotel. We stayed here for the last night of our trip after having spent 3 nights at another hotel in the city centre and then traveling west, before returning to Dublin.
