have just returned from a 4 day stay at this amazing castle.....food excellent, rooms beautiful with egyptian cotton bedding......huge double bed....slept like a log. But what makes this hotel stand out us the amazing staff. From check in which was quick and efficient to the great bar staff in the knights bar. That was definitely a first. The original castle structure has been modified slightly to become the main lobby/foyer area, restaurants, and sitting areas. They've added "wings" to either side where the rooms are located but the style/feel of the additions work with the original structure. We had a standard single room and there was plenty of room for my wife...

I booked this hotel as a special treat for my mom on our first night in Ireland. We ended up coming in 7 hours earlier then anticipated, and both Graham and Vijay were so helpful in getting us in a room as soon as possible and taxi services. The room itself was very well designed and maintained, and we really...

We staid in the hotel for two nights. The castle hotel is unique in style, well decorated and sought after. The room we booked was on the small side and the decoration was a mixture of classic and modern. Despite its size, it had all the amendities one would expect from a 4 star hotel and then a few more....

Such an amazing Hotel, setting and atmosphere beautiful. Great food, bar, staff and rooms. We usually stay in Dublin City but this was a welcome relaxing break in the peaceful grounds of Clontarf Castle. Would like to see more for kids, but this is only a recommendation. Everything you would expect from a "real castle". Staff was friendly and helpful. Bar area was lively and fun and the restaurant's food was fair, even though the waiter's did their best to make it memorable.

WE travel from Belfast every year to celebrate our anniversary and we have always had a wonderful time. we usually ask for the same room ( Number a secret)' Access to Dublin no problem as bus leaves from just outside main gate at regular intervals. Luxury at a reasonable price.
