Having stayed at this Hotel several times before without issue we booked a pre christmas break here again. On our first night we fancied a night cap so I went to order at the Bar two Irish cofees - bearing in mind we were in a hotel in Dublin in Ireland to be told by the very surely bar maid "we... Suitable for a stag/hen do or party holiday where you are here to not get much sleep. Very noisy near clubs & bars. Lots of cars beeping horns & tram noise. Room very basic but clean with tea making facilities, clean linen. Only recommend if you want a lively break!

Stayed for three nights her late November mid week. The nightclub wasn't in operation so no comments about the noise others report from that. I had a second floor room at the front, and confirm other comments about thin walls and that the tram runs right past your window, with a handy ding ding every time, quite a handy alarm... More

Stayed in the hotel for a girly night out, our rooms were very clean & appeared to have been recently refurbished. The bathroom sink was slow to empty and our room was at the front of the hotel which was very noisy but we managed to sleep through it! Customer service on checking in was terrible. The receptionist was trying... More

Nice location, you can walk everywhere. Staff was so friendly, specially Tania, she was really helpful and nice at all times, not complains at all. Common areas clean and tidy, spacious hotel with a really nice environment. The room was amazing, simply amazing!

We stayed in the Harcourt Hotel on Sunday 20th because it was the best value Hotel we found on the internet. Our experience was equally the same as if we were staying in a five star Hotel. Our room was a large very comfortable room with lovely air conditioning and a lovely big shower room. From the receptionist to the bar... More

Was worried about reports of noise but it didn't bother us at all. Granted, we went out every night but even later in the night we weren't really affected. We were on the second floor and away from the D2 club entrance.

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago from Thursday to Saturday. Upon arrival our room was not ready. This was not an issue as we went to the bar within the hotel where we were able to enjoy a late lunch. The portion sizes were generous. When we got given the key to our room, it wasn't ready and... The problem with a great city like Dublin being a popular tourist destination means that there is an excess of very poor accommodation like the Harcourt. A converted Georgian house, this is typical of a shoddy conversation done decades ago and sadly in need of some love. Threadbare carpets, a lift that only worked once out of the three nights... Arrived early Saturday morning, even though check in wasn't until 15:00PM the staff were really helpful and took our bags so we could explore and advised us to come back in two hours and the room would be ready. Location is perfect, it is only a 10 minute walk to Grafton Street where all the main shops are and about... More
