So while the location was wonderful my first impression was off as when I checked in, the receptionist told me that if I wanted air conditioning, that would be an upgrade, told me the price and then told me that "sorry there is no availability for an upgrade." This pattern of interaction with staff went through the entire week, paying for breakfast, "oh there is a continental option" , "oh we have no almond milk, then later be told of course we have almond milk." Clearly staff training on services and on how to deliver them are sorely needed - across the board. One exception, the bellmmen who took our car to park and received us upon our return each day was hands on and speedy taking the car from the street where there is no room for temporary parking. Peter and one other were excellent, please thank them for their kindness and responsive behavior. Other staff were less pleasant and tried to avoid eye contact the entire week.…
Excellent Hotel. Location central to all. Valet Parking was exactly what we needed to add value to the trip. First rate breakfast in lavish surroundings, book on arrival. Steps away from Trinty College and the Dart. Partitioned patio for drinks or Conversation. Fan in the closet, if needed
Great location to everything! Friendly staff. Rooms were spacious and lovely. Beautiful outdoor patio and breakfast/dining rooms are elegantly appointed. Nice lounge areas to catch up on work, or have a cocktail after a long day of sightseeing.
Allowed early check-in, nice and clean room, good location for seeing recommended sights such as Book of Kells, Dublin Castle, Christ Church and, generally, for walking around town. Trade off is a bit of noise.
Nice old hotell With almost everything close bye.The staff was very helpful and service minded. It was an good atmosefear between the staff, really nice to hear. The Foods was great, good and tasteful breakfast buffet. The room was clean and fixed every day. We had a rally good time at the hotell.
Carton water provided. Great event area. Quick easy checkin. Helpful concierge and baggage hold location. The bar could have better Irish whiskey in stock but the bartenders were easy going. The elevator did have the emergency service button pressed which made a call on every ride without anyone answering.
Had an amazing stay at the hotel! Intended to be as near as possible to the downtown core of the city while also having parking available. The staff service was quick and courteous, they were extremely friendly and they always did their best to answer all my questions. The room itself was also amazing, however I take 1 star off my experience for the following: - not enough lighting in the room at night - the shower drain was backed up 2 of the 3 nights I was there - shower did not have a curtain, so water always sprayed all over the bathroom whenever I took a shower Thanks again and look Forward to visiting again!
The Trinity City hotel was in a wonderful location and the accommodations were beautiful. The rooms were clean and roomy, as well as quiet. Excellent food in the breakfast buffet. A perfect place to stay in Dublin!

I’m glad we only stayed at this property for two nights and not any longer. We booked through Expedia and when we arrived, we were told we had a different room than what was advertised online, so we wound having to upgrade for an additional $80 /night. The gentleman who handled our check-in was incredibly unhelpful and didn’t care to apologize for the mix-up. He was just plain rude. We got to our room at the far end of the hotel and it was very dark and old. The bathroom was outdated, the sink sprayed water everywhere, there was little space for any toiletries on the counter, and you could tell that there had been water damage to the bottom of the cabinet at some point. We had to turn on the air conditioning because the hallways were hot and humid, making it incredibly uncomfortable in the room too. The air conditioner was right above the bed and so loud that it was impossible to get a decent night of sleep. The next morning we woke up to no hot water and had to call the front desk not once, but twice to have maintenance take a look at it. The gentleman who arrived 20min later was very nice and helpful. He wound up fixing the water issue, thankfully, but it was every disappointing to have to deal with that on our vacation. The only good thing about our room was the bed, which was very comfortable. If the opportunity came up to stay here again, I would pass. It was really unfortunate to pay a lot of money for a room that was quite frankly an embarrassment.…
