I've stayed in the hotel quite a lot over the years. Friendly staff. breakfasts are great. Close enough to the city centre. An emergency came up this week which meant I had to go look for a place for two nights this week, and this place came straight to mind. Unfortunately, they don't accept payment on departure, as they did on the various other times I stayed there, which suits me better in case there's any charges like food I need to pay for. My stays for the last 10/15 years have now, unfortunately, come to an end.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my family. The rooms were pristine, service & food in the bar next door excellent. Same for breakfast in the hotel. A special word of thanks to Raul & kez. This is a very well run establishment & a great find for us as our son is living locally.

We needed a pet friendly hotel on the south side of Dublin and whilst they are almost non existent , the Uppercross House Hotel proved to be exceptionally good. Our room (113) was super clean ,quiet and even bowls provided for Kevin ,the frug. Our evening meal in the bar was excellent ,as was breakfast .All of course under Covid restrictions which were being adhered to with great respect. A definite 5 star review.

We stayed only one night but everything was great about the hotel. Staff very helpful to begin with. Amazing food both breakfast and late dinner. Lovely bar and restaurant. Free private parking at the back of the hotel. Lovely clean room and free fast WiFi. Within the 5 minutes walk from the hotel there’s a lot of nice restaurants, pubs, takeaways, shops and cinemas. Highly recommend. Definitely will come back for longer stay.

We stayed one night at the uppercross hotel the hotel is good the restrictions were adhered to. But the room was not cleaned properly the skirting boards were covered in dust and there was a hair on the end of the bath. We are in strange times and we most definitely expect hotel rooms to be cleaned thoroughly and checked. My friend and I went around the room with disinfectant wipes to clean it when we arrived. The breakfast was amazing cooked perfectly and so fresh. However the Indian guy who was there serving us was not in any kind of uniform he was wearing tracksuit bottoms sandals and a jumper this I found very strange. I certainly don’t believe this is following any haccp regulations.
