A great location, a 5-15 minute walk to most popular locations in city centre. The staff was always helpful, general questions, providing maps and taxis. The breakfast was average but service was usually attentive. Loved leaving the key (not a keycard) at the desk so there was no risk losing it and since we were going and coming at different times...

My recent trip to this hotel for lunch in Dublin’s city centre was not a good experience. The reason I went to Buswell’s Hotel in the first place was that, having complained about lackadaisical treatment in the bar, I was rewarded with a €25 voucher. The lunch is a self-service buffet affair in a fairly cramped space: the whole layout...

Dear Gretry, Thank you for your posting your review. I am really sorry to hear you did not enjoy your lunch, your experience does not reflect the experiences of our lunch customers. Our food offering is comprehensive, with good choice between carved joints and wet dishes. I will take you points on board and see how we can further improve...

Had a great 2 night stay here, location could not be better, we were doing a touristy weekend in Dublin and right beside the main museums and points of interest. Lovely comfortable room for 3, gorgeous breakfast and parking behind the hotel (paid for at night, you had to pay during the day only). Would highly recommend this hotel and would...

The front desk staff are exceptional. They were welcoming and remembered me as I came and went from the hotel. Clive is a gem; very helpful in making reservations and arranging tickets. The hotel is close to bus stops, Grafton Street, Trinity College and the Book of Kells

Pros: Friendly staff especially Vicky who couldn't do enough. Very comfortable seating and surroundings Great access to museums and city centre Good shower and comfortable beds Adequate breakfast Cons: Compact room means very small . No air con and therefore very warm in room. Obtrusive seagull noise thru the night (not Buswell fault)
