Sadly I have been using Jury's Inn hotels for many years but I will use them no longer. I booked a tour in Ireland in summer 2021 and only one hotel of the many that I booked with took full the payment up front. All the bookings that I made offered "Free Cancellation" - fair enough I thought, it is their policy. I had to change my booking by putting it back a week for personal reasons, so I first tried to amend the existing booking and found that it had gone up by 25%. I made a fresh booking and was surprised to find that that was 25% less for the same room. I cancelled the original booking and sure enough, pretty much straight away, the 350 or so Euros went out of my account alongside the 420 or so for the original booking. Then I waited. Called Booking.com who spoke to the hotel and were told that I would have to with "15-20 working days" for the hotel to process a refund. After 21 working days, I called again and this time was told that the hotel had initiated my refund (they should have done that way before) and the money would be back in my account soo. After 6 weeks, I called again and once again the agent spoke to the hotel whilst I was on hold and came back to me with "The hotel says that you will have to wait another 90 days for a refund". I kicked up a fuss and sure enough, Booking.com refunded my money and took it up directly with the hotel. I also cancelled the second booking on principle and I now have the money back for that so it didn't take as long. However, it is a real shame for Jury's Inn because not only is their incompetent and/or dishonest practice being exposed on Trip Advisor, but I also had a total of 1200 Euros of other bookings at other Jury's Inns in Ireland on the same tour which I have now cancelled and re-booked with rival hotels (in some cases at a higher rate - it's not about the money, it's about trust!).…
We stayed here for two nights the week before Christmas. The staff seemed to be taking the covid crisis and the health risk very seriously which was reassuring to see. Obviously facilities were very limited but it suited our needs perfectly. I like the fact that this hotel has a car park too.
We stayed here for a number of nights and it was everything that we needed it to be. The location was perfect for what we wanted to see and do, with everything within walking distance. The room was well-equipped and clean, and staff were friendly and helpful. This is a hotel that we wouldn't hesitate to stay in again.
Pre Coronavirus this was my regular hotel and I stayed for work for a night most weeks of the year. I got back for a brief stay with my family in December. It was super to see some friendly faces to welcome us back, and Ana and Aga looked after us exceptionally well. They really made us feel safe and as comfortable as the Coronavirus restrictions allow. Looking forward to returning once conditions allow.
