Located at the edge of Temple Bar across from Dublin Castle, the location if this new hotel is great for easy access to shopping areas, bars and restaurants as well as museums and other sights.
The hotel itself offers guests a guitar or turntable for their room. There is memorabilia on every wall including signed guitars.
Staff at reception are friendly and the lounge area nearby small but comfortable.
The hotel’s bar and restaurant are in a separate building linked from the second floor by a glass sided walkway. Having a dj play in the bar is a nice touch and we found the music was at a perfect level to chat but not listen in to others.
When we were there social distancing was in force and handled excellently with hand sanitizer throughout public spaces.
Our second floor room was spacious and quiet. Great sound on the television and fabulous choices in music on offer. The ensuite shower had both power and waterfall options. I also really liked the toiletries on offer. Comfortable bed and soft tones for the decor were appreciated!
Will definitely stay again.

Hi galwaygirl88, Firstly let me share my thanks with you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us at Hard Rock Dublin in such great detail. The hotel follows the unique design of other Hard Rock properties with various rock memorabilia dotted throughout the property. Some of our more iconic pieces include Phil Lynott’s iconic black jacket, Kurt Cobain’s top, and David Bowie’s Orange Boiler suit. I am delighted that the sound element of your stay was of such a high standard as well. The Hard Rock offers a new level to the guest experience to any other hotel in the city. Our 'Sound Of your Stay' program allows guests to rent a Fender electric guitar to your room or a Crossly vinyl record player to give your stay a real rock star feel. I am also particularly delighted to note your appreciation of our new procedures in place throughout the hotel to ensure the safety of our guests and staff in the face of Covid 19. These uncertain times have added a need for a new level of trust and I am glad to see we have managed to garner yours. I will be sure to share your kind words with all our team who will be truly delighted to know that they helped create an experience that was truly reflective of the high standards we hold ourselves to here at Hard Rock Dublin. I hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the not so distant future for another memorable stay. Kindest regards, Luke Taaffe Front Office Manager

We have just gotten back from an absolutely fantastic stay at the Hard Rock Hotel, Dublin. We booked an overnight family package and I can honestly say not one detail was overlooked. The staff were absolutely fantastic, a big thank you to Paul, Luke and Saorse. Our son was made to feel like a rock star from the delivery of the guitar and amp he chose at check in to the vinyls and Crosley player and beyond. The staff spoke to us by name and remembered our sons name everywhere he went. The evening room delivery of sweets and popcorn was such a special treat and it was hugely appreciated. This has been our first real experience post lockdown as we have been in almost isolation for three months but we felt it was very clean and safe with all the necessary precautions. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and the cocktails were excellent.
We will definitely be back. Thanks so much.

A great night enjoyed catching up with my mum after a stressful few months. From the moment we arrived all staff in this great hotel were friendly and helpful. We felt very safe, staff in the restaurant all wore face coverings and were very respectful of social distancing. The food was very tasty. I had a Ceviche to start, followed by the chicken(I must ask the chef what the yummy marinade was). We sampled Porn Star Martinis from the cocktail list and the wine selection was good and reasonably priced. The bedroom was fabulous, beds and pillows obviously were top of the range. I loved the quirky touches, all rock related of course. You can even borrow a guitar from reception and use their in house guitar lessons through the tv screens. We were too busy enjoying the good food! Also yoga tutorials, music selections and more. The decor throughout the hotel is both stunning and fascinating. The location just a stone's throw from Dublin Castle and Christchurch Cathedral couldn't be better. Thank you to all the staff who remained happy and polite while struggling to speak and serve us wearing face masks. We will be back!

Hard Rock Hotel is my go to hotel when visiting Dublin, i stayed first time after opening in March and vowed to return after a great 1 night stay.
All this doom and gloom with Covid going on i decided to return for 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend in August under the Dublin Rocks Offer.
While in lock-down here in the west i noticed a 3 for 2 night offer under the same package so i contacted reservations and Stephanie was only too happy to change my booking to a third night free she even got me booked into the wonderful Zampas.
The morning prior to our arrival, i got a call from the hotel to advice to confirm my requests and room type and if there was anything else i required and our arrival time. I asked for the coffee machine to be placed in the room that was removed due to Covid-19 and Adam confirmed this would be done and couldn't be more helpful.
We arrived late that evening and bumped into both Joe and Luke who we encountered on our last visit and had a warm welcome back for us. We were warmly checked in by adellsa i think (tall blond hair girl) who also welcomed us back and remembered us from our last stay. She advised us of booking a slot for breakfast, our dinner reservation and the new rules with regards to covid and service. Before heading up , they said they could squeeze us in for food but after working and traveling we werent in the mood for a large feed.
Joe and Luke had set us up with a nice room and a wonderful selection of records and a crosley record player and a welcome back note.
Breakfast the next few mornings was served in Zampas and included a wide selection of cooked to order items all served by a great team which included 2 familiar faces both Paul and Ross ran a great show each morning and couldn't be more helpful. I am still craving them sweet potato pancakes.
Dinner in Zampas that evening was amazing and included under the Dublin Rocks Package, service was second to none and the cocktails were first class, while there was a slight delay at peak times for the cocktails they were worth the wait and dont forget the dessert the Churros are to die for. The vibe and music was in full flow , Joe was doing what he dose best.
We tried to get in on our last night just for dessert and coffee but they were full so reception said we could order to the room which we certainly did, while there was a delay as they lost our room number it was well worth the wait.
We were meant to head to HRH Tenerife in December but it was cancelled, i have rebooked HRH Dublin instead for my HRH fix. The Room the Hotel and Staff were well equipped for precautions with Covid and no issues with it impacting my stay.
Thanks to Luke, Joe, Paul, Ross Stephanie and all the team in HRH Dublin , fingers crossed will see ye all in December. Yourselves and your team provide each and every guest Excellent Hospitality.
Defiantly dont forget to check the Rock Shop out Lorraine was a pleasure to deal with.

Where to begin.
From start to finish this was one of the most relaxing and luxurious stays my wife and I have had in Dublin. We are locals and had wanted to visit since the grand opening last year. Being a tourist in your own city is pretty fun. And we couldn't have picked a better, more central spot from which to explore for the day.
The hotel is thoughtfully and tastefully designed. It is luxurious, whilst remaining fun and quirky. Put it this way, you wouldn't feel out of place dressed to the nines or in your tracksuit and trainers. Character quite literally exudes out of the walls with rock n' roll and music memorabilia adorning the walls, rooms and ceilings! The rainbow bridge was a personal favourite of mine.
What really impressed me about the hotel is that every single detail has been carefully considered. From the digital controls to manage the temperature and lighting in the rooms, to the curated selection of records in each room complete with your own record player.
The staff throughout our stay were helpful, professional and friendly. Despite being in the heart of the city, we didn't hear any noise, either from the street or from the other guests.
The entire hotel is a credit to the whole team who were responsible for this massive renovation and launch in 2020 and the team that continue to run such a classy operation.
Well done to you all. 10 out of 10.

The Hard Rock Hotel in Dublin is a fantastic place to stay! It’s in a vibrant location (Temple Bar), so there are a ton of fun places to eat within short walking distance. The staff was amazing. From the front desk people (a special call-out to the woman from Brazil!) to the restaurant staff, everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. We had one of the “family” rooms, and it was clean, spacious, well decorated, and very comfortable. The property is very well maintained and it had a warm and inviting atmosphere that made it an extremely comfortable and relaxing place to stay. We got the breakfast package and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast every morning (the delicious French Toast topped with fresh berries and thick cut bacon was our favorite way to start our day). Highly recommended, and if we return to Dublin we will definitely stay at the Hard Rock again!

Stayed for a night at the beginning of March shortly after the hotel opened. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was quite obviously new and clean (it still had the ‘new carpet’ smell!
We booked some kind of new opening rate which included breakfast, but was obviously a special rate so we were given a small room. The room was very small, but it was fine as we were mostly out and about and only really used the room to sleep and shower.
Breakfast was nice, it’s a little funky to get if you are staying in the same part of the hotel as reception, because it’s in a different building, but there is an internal corridor that connects the buildings on the 1st floor so you don’t have to walk outside.
Would stay again, the AC was a little weird in the room but I mentioned it to reception and on checkout and he assured me it would be looked at, so I haven’t marked down based on that.
Also expected a little more Rory Gallagher things, I found one LP on the wall and one in the lift and that was it.

When your stay begins with ‘we’ve upgraded your room’ and ‘what type of music would you like playing in your room’ it’s a pretty great start. Greeted when we pulled up outside the hotel and assisted with our bags which were whisked up to our room while we checked in. The receptionist was friendly and courteous. We arrived early because we were attending a wedding in Dublin, early check in was not a problem. The room was large, comfortable with temperature at our control. We’ve all stayed in those hotels where the heat is so intense it can ruin a nights sleep, so room temperature is important. We slept really well in the super long. The breakfast waiting staff were friendly and super attentive. They noticed I was feeling cold and switched off the cool air where we were sitting, without being asked. They refilled orange juice and gave us great big pots of tea and coffee. I had the sweet potato pancakes which were delicious and the breakfast board with autumn berry granola, fresh smoothies and tasty pastries was a lovely touch. A little pricier than some of the hotels in the area, but well worth it for a 5 star experience.

I stayed at this fantastic hotel for 8 nights and I would have never left if I could!
Starting from the reservation process I had the pleasure to arrange the details of my stay with the lovely Luiza and at check-in, I discovered we had been given an upgrade so it was a great start.
The room was across the Rainbow Bridge and looking down the beautiful Dame Street. Wonderfully decorated room (the Phil Lynott portrait was a big plus for a Lizzy fan like myself!), modern and very particular with some pretty cool amenities: giant led mirror, big shower, top-brand toiletries, wide choice of complimentary refreshments (Bewleys coffee and tea which I LOVE, hot coco & Walkers shortbreads), glass bottled water delivered each day, very comfortable bed, soundproof walls (quite important when you're located in the city centre), very large tv with selected music playlists and last, but definitely not least they left a guitar & amp in the room for the whole stay, which is literally one of the coolest things ever!
The room was always very clean, dusted and polished every single day. This hotel is clearly very new so every detail still looks like it has just come out of the box.
Staff was beyond amazing and they deserve the real praise here, it's beautiful to see young people working hard but always smiling.
This has not been my first time in the city, been there 9 times in my life, and I can assure you there are so many disgusting yet expensive hotels around that I suggest you spend a little more money and enjoy a really comfortable stay at the HRH.
I can't wait to come back

Stayed here on Saturday night to celebrate my daughters birthday. I let the front office manager Luke know it was her birthday and her made sure everything was perfect for her From check-in to chéck-out. The room was gorgeous and the kids loved playing the electric guitar in they had put in for us before we arrived. The food in the restaurant is to die for and the service was amazing. The staff made my daughter feel very special for her birthday, with bringing her "princess mocktail" when we arrived to a happy birthday message on her plate at desert. I will definitely be back again in the future.

Hi Coleen, There are a few options...
1 - You can get the public transport (Dublin Bus) number 16 towards the city centre and get off at the first stop on George Street. You'll walk for about 5min to reach the hotel. €3.20 ticket (as of today Aug/2023) paid to the driver - only takes coins/change. It's the longest journey but it's the cheapest.
2. Aircoach route 700 (City Centre - Leopardstown) towards the city centre and get off on Westmoreland Street/ Temple Bar. Around a 7min walk to the hotel. Tickets can be booked online or paid to the driver. €8 single journey. Walk about 7min,
3: Airlink 747 going to town. Get off in Temple Bar. Costs €7 single journey. Paid to drier or can be booked online in advance.
All buses and their stops can be found right outside terminals 1 and 2.
Sadie the breakfast was fabulous, you could have a cooked breakfast or fancy pancakes etc but the fruit was my favourite it was amazing. The restaurant food is great too.
Hi there as far as I'm aware there is no parking onsite. You should contact the hotel directly and they'll be able to tell you where the nearest car park is and the best rates.
I’m 5’11” and the beds were fine for me.
We were able to check in early as our room was available around lunchtime.
Ask when you arrive at the property as you can leave your luggage if room isn't available straight away.
