My friend and I stayed in the Harding Hotel as we were going to an event at Vicker Street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were really lovely and very helpful. The Hotel itself is very clean and modern. Our rooms were way better than we would have expected for the price we paid. We both had requested single...

The staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful - even offered to print off our boarding passes. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The 3 x double rooms we had booked were spacious and clean and served our purpose as it was very central to Temple Bar area. The hotel bar and adjoining bistro were also very...

I am writing this only a few days into my time here, and everything is well done. I was a bit taken aback when I had the "do not disturb" sign up and opened my door to fall over a pile of towels and toilet paper. I would have prefered to not have anything at my door and if was...

Stayed here one night with friends, as we were attending a concert at a nearby venue. We had a triple room with a view of the side of the actual cathedral of Christchurch. Room was spacious enough for us all, although the bathroom was a little small (but manageable) as didn't have a bath in it (just a shower, wc...

Stayed here for two nights at the start of December. Check in was great with the male receptionist making us feel very welcome, and providing lots of information during our stay. We were allocated a room at the rear with no view overlooking the smoking area. I can only describe this room as large, basic and no much else. The...

This was my second time to stay at the Harding Hotel. The staff were welcoming, helpful and cheerful always, and kindly stored my bags as I had an evening departure from the city. The room was comfortable, brilliantly clean, and quiet as well. Another fine stay.

I arrived after 48 hours of travel. Staff was helpful and communicative by email prior to arrival. I had a single room which faced directly onto the Cathedral. A lot of their rooms face this way due to their orientation. You will have more street noise on this side so be sure to let them know whether you want a...
