I have stayed here before. Years ago. The reception area was spotless and the staff welcoming. Room was spacious but not extravagant. You get what you pay for. Breakfast was good. But the great thing about Mont Clare is that is central and extremely well served by public transport. The Airlink 757 bus from Dublin airport stops across the street....

Place was quite good, however slightly run down. There were a few things that could have been better. 1. There was gum stuck to the wall (by the bed) which hadn't been removed 2. Some of the bathroom tiles were broken and a poor maintenance job had been done 3. The bathtub in our bathroom had loose timber that was...

Stayed here for a weekend. We had a room on the first floor overlooking the street which I was concerned may be noisy but it was fine. All the staff were extremely helpful and we opted for breakfast which was very good. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel if you are looking for somewhere central with a great atmosphere and...

Stopped here now a couple of times, all changed from the first time, where all the staff where Irish and now there all Eastern European, but in no way shape or form does this take away from this excellent hotel, from the breakfast to the maids, anything you need is no problem, the only small thing is that the rooms...

We stayed in this hotel for a short city break and to go to two theatre shows, both of which were within easy walking distance of this superbly located hotel. It is in a lovely part of Dublin and a short walk away from Grafton Street, which is one of the primary shopping areas in the city centre. Our room...

We planned a car tour of Ireland during the off season for our honeymoon, starting in Dublin. This quaint, old hotel was a romantic location for our 1st night in the city. We were upgraded to their Oscar Wilde Suite, which was lovely. Excellent breakfast. Reasonable walking distance from many popular sites.

This hotel was very well situated to allow us to walk to and from the center of Dublin, and the bus transfer from the airport stopped right across the road, which was ideal. Really helpful staff, and I loved all the wooden decor. The rooms were comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. My one issue (which I find...

I stayed here for the weekend with my husband. on arrival, which I guess was a turn off from my point of view, the guy on check in did not say hi, hello, your welcome, only, your name please? After travelling for half the day it would be nice to have a welcome when you get to your hotel! Maybe...

Only stayed one night. The spoiler was no hot water on the night and following morning so no shower for us. Did complain on the morning and we were thanked for the feedback... Comforable as it was and a queen size bed, the bathroom was tired and poorly maintained. Sliding wardrobe was non sliding. Good location with a pleasant walk...

This hotel was booked for me by my company, but after checking out their website I was happy to stay, as it seemed perfect for my requirements. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars and the front desk team were very helpful, giving directions and making sure I got my taxi to...
