Helpful staff overall, and nice accommodations, as well as needing to excuse the work being done at the moment. Unfortunately, this is a party hostel, with people drinking even in the rooms and lack of quiet until 4am or thereabouts.

We stayed in a six-bed Rom for 4 days at Ashfield hostel and we couldn't complain. The desk is 24/7 manned with funny guys which will answer you any questions. At the arrival they gave us a map of Dublin including some handy tips of what we can do in the city. People are open minded and friendly, the rooms... More

The hostel is in a great location, the staff is very friendly and breakfast is quite good. Though, rooms are a great drawback. The mattresses are extremely hard and un uncomfortable, no suitable for a human sleep. I would expect to find something better, even for a B&B. I had a terrible night. Besides rooms have not isolation at all,... More

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ashfield! We had a private twin room with ensuite and the room was the perfect size, very clean and very safe. The staff were all so nice and friendly- everyone always had a smile. It's a great location, being about a 5-10 minute walk from Temple Bar and other sites such... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Ashfield. We stayed for 2 nights when we first arrived to Ireland and for 1 night at the end of our trip, and we couldn't be happier with both visits! The staff were super friendly, and very helpful. They gave us great advice at our time of check-in, and were very funny in doing... More

Nice staff, great location! The first time I said I was in a downstairs room, only shame was that the windows couldn't open so the room was quite damp. The second time I stayed I was in a girl only room upstairs (second floor) which is a bit of pain with luggages so if you have any condition you may... More

Things I liked: the staff is really helpful, available for any request, question; breakfast is rich; the hostel is in a very good position. Things I didn't like: ensuite bathroom not clean, the wi-fi didn't work always well.
