Nice clean hotel minutes from the center of Dublin. Close to pubs and the Guinness brewery and small local shops. It is a short bus ride, walk or taxi to center city. If Dublin is in your plans this is a very nice hotel. The distance from the city center keeps noise down and allows for a comfortable nights sleep....

We had high hopes for this hotel having researched various hotels in the area. When we arrived we weren't greeted by the gent on the reception, and he told us there was 'absolutely no way' we could pay for our stay using a debit card (although we were previously told we were) he booked us in and commented on our...

The room was clean, of good size and with a comfortable bed. Good selection of TV channels, good facilities in the room. The breakfast was of an average standard with a good selection. Parking was an additional €13 per night. The hotel has recently changed hands and used to be a lot more expensive when it was a “double tree”...

This hotel looked so promising when we came in but straight away the staff member on the front desk was rude and dismissive of us. Thought it was a one off and went down to the bar later on, the staff were the same, also didn't know how to make any of the cocktail menu. I don't expect over the...

Hotel is lovely but staff are unhelpful and rude. They walk around like they have a bad smell up their nose and are very dismissive when you ask for simple requests. Dublin is a lovely place and the one the whole the people are lovely, perhaps the staff could learn a thing or two from the charming Irish taxi drivers...

For a short business stay, this hotel will suffice, but not much more. The lobby is new and modern, but the hallways are typical british/irish i.e. thick carpets everywhere and a bit shabby looking. The rooms are OK, but nothing special, there is an empty fridge, but no minibar. Any noise carries through the hotel and through the paper thin...

OK so I've rated the Clayton Hotel a 3 as it's the middle of the road and didn't know which way to go with. I have very mixed feelings about my stay. I booked tickets to see Amy Macdonald in Dublin and to stay for 3 nights here as part of a surprise trip for my partner's birthday, all booked...

The hotel, staff and facilities are great. However, the courtyard is occupied with an event hall and every night is unacceptable sound of beats and basses until early in the morning. Half of the rooms are facing to this yard. You'd better chose the noisiest corner in Temple Bar. Awful!

I had a really nice stay in Clayton Hotel Burlington Road and left with a really nice experience on how helpful and friendly the hotel staff was. I'd like to recognize especially Carmen. Unfortunately after a very nice night put in Dublin, I returned to Clayton Hotel and realized my phone went missing. The hotel staff advised me on how...
