We stayed 1 night at the Gibson as we were seeing a concert in the 3arena. The hotel is very impressive, we had a superior room with breakfast which we got for a very reasonable price. The room was fabulous, clean and contemporary and very spacious. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The bar was lovely, really vibrant and...

Dear Niamh42, I really appreciate that you have taken the time to tell us about your visit to the gibson hotel. I don't know how it's possible but every time we stay here it seems to get better! We plan to stay here again Nov 6th and I have to say i will be interested to see if they've added anything else because at this stage I can't see how it would be possible to improve on such perfection! Seriously, this...

We stayed here for 2 nights in September and the hotel was beautiful. Bright, clean room with a large TV, the comfiest bed I've slept in and a lovely balcony! As soon as we arrived, the staff stood out with excellent customer service. Nothing was too much trouble! We left our luggage at the hotel on the first day as...

The room was super clean, modern, very comfy bed. Don't think I ever ate in the hotel as so much was near the hotel or at least a short tram ride or walk away. We were here covering an event at the O2 at the time, there is nothing closer than this place. It's literally across the parking lot just...

Everything about this hotel was top class. The welcome at reception was stylish and professional. The decor and cleanliness of the room was perfect. The addition of secure overnight parking for only 14 euro was a real bonus. Would certainly recommend if using Dublin port as it is only a stone's throw away. Can't wait to return when we are...

We stayed here for 7 days while touring Dublin and Ireland. The room was very large, spotless and extremely comfortable. Even though it's not in the city center, if you want to go into Dublin, it's only a short ride on the tram, which is right outside the door and taxis are always available. The desk staff was friendly, helpful...

Located at the docks, opposite the 3Arena, not the most beautiful of sites but practical. From the 3rd floor you get a magnificent view of the area and the bar is a great place to stop for a drink as you wait for the show at the 3Arena or just want to wait for the train.  It is a large...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Chic and understated with a music pedigree that runs deep, the gibson hotel Dublin is the ultimate urban retreat. Music lovers, art junkies, food fanatics - whatever your passion it's right on our doorstep. We do sleeping, meeting, dining, gigging, touring, wedding and relaxing really really well. We mix all these things with a fresh, energetic, slightly off centre approach and we know it works. Exhibitions, supporting local artists, urban weddings and the odd celebrity are elements of what makes us different to the normal Dublin Hotel. You will find our staff friendly, responsive and happy - there is a secret to this that we can't possibly share. The gibson hotel is the ideal location to explore the city and planning your stay is easy. The M1 and M50 are 8 minutes away via the Port Tunnel and we have ample covered parking for our guests. With the luas stop right outside our front door Connolly train station is only 8 minutes away and Heuston train station is a short 20 minutes from the hotel. The Luas will take you to the City centre in 10 minutes or if you prefer to take in the views of the River Liffey a brisk 15 minute walk along the quays will bring you to O'Connell street, the heart of Dublin city. Great beds, 100MB complimentary WiFi, a gym, relaxation area, restaurant, bar and meeting space are all part of the deal. The gibson hotel is modern yet comfortable, it's different and it's better, it's large, it's friendly and it's a building that is alive with great people from the moment you set foot until the moment you leave. ... more   less
