We had two nights here, what a lovely hotel and the staff were amazing and couldn't be more helpful, especially the guy (unfortunately we didn't catch his name) who worked the morning shift on the breakfast bar, he really went above and beyond to make us welcome and help out
We ended up in a room for the disabled which was fine. The room was clean and definitely big enough. The area the hotel is in is rather industrial. The staff was very helpful. The continental breakfast was good.
So we’ve all heard the rooms at Hendric Smithfield are slightly small. That said everything in the room is perfectly clean and modern. The rooms are very fully equipped with everything that you could require and yes there is no huge wardrobe but you can hang up your clothes on perfectly suitable coathangers and a metal rail. For me the window in the bedroom, or size of the window in the bedroom was probably the biggest issue. I know the hotel can’t change it but it would be my preference to have a big opening window to get some fresh air. There is air con in the rooms. I enjoyed my stay the staff were super helpful and always smiling. The food served in the small bar was okay though the Paninis need heated through more. The prices at the bar are quite expensive. Very close to local areas shops restaurants though so you don’t need to be limited by the hotel. Check in was quite poor but it was busy when I arrived. Though I had to wait to get my room as it wasn’t ready yet. This was well after 4 pm and I had expected to get into my room at 3 pm. Cleaning of the rooms seems to be a bit of an issue I went back to my room after 4 pm and it still had not been cleaned.…
We booked this hotel because we wanted to try a stylish, contemporary place in a cool part of Dublin. We liked the "vibe" of the reception and lounge and bar area. We booked a double twin room (2 friends traveling). The rooms are COMPACT...very tight. If you need/want a bigger room, this might not be the hotel for you. But it was fine for our short stay in Dublin. Check out the cool graffiti wall in the lobby, signed by all 4 members of U2!
The room is nice and clean. Not very big/large, but it’s a good price/quality ratio in my opinion. Staff was friendly and we had an early check in what was great. Location is good. Walking distance Jameson and Guinness. Enough bars in the vicinity.
I really can’t rate this higher!! Really great hotel, the room is small (I’d say probably more suitable for a short stay) but had everything I needed. Great shower, big bed, good service. I was served by Prafull - he was very accommodating and kind! Location is good (maybe a smidge further away than I would’ve liked - ~15/20 min walk from the centre) but absolutely did not take away from the trip. They also store luggage which was handy.
The hotel is stylish and clean which is great. Stag were efficient but not friendly The room was tiny The wall socket was too far from the table to rest my phone on Choice of breakfast poor- cereal and Danish pastries and toast Not worth the money Dinner menu was just 3 pizzas and 2 paninis. - poor choice
We had a great stay and the service was amazing! It was a great time and whenever we needed assistance they were always there to help. We had to divide our payment and they were more than happy to help us with what we needed!
Had a great time bartender Aine provided great service and was helpful with finding things to do in Ireland could ask for better service. Everyone was nice and helpful. Room was very accommodating and location is great
Hotel was absolutely amazing our four day trip. The bartender, Aine was like no other bartender I have ever seen. Besides providing us amazing drinks, she provided us a list of the best places to see.
