My daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights on our recent trip to Ireland. Our room was cosy, comfortable and clean. The location was great being only a half hour walk into the town centre where we visited some great pubs with live music. Our hosts Catherine and Patrick were lovely, they were friendly and offered suggestions of things to do and were very helpful with local information. We would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Ireland.

Adare House was a wonderful 'home away from home' for us for 3 nights. Patrick and Catherine Foy were terrific hosts. Patrick was particularly helpful when it came to having to deal with the airline loosing some of our luggage and he helped to have it delivered to Adare House. His knowledge of Irish history and his recommendations regarding what to be sure to see were very appreciated. He even arrange for a car and driver to take us (and our friends) to explore some of the local sites. Our room was big, beautiful, comfortable and clean; breakfast was tasty and plentiful. This B&B is in a lovely neighbourhood, walking distance from lots of shops, pubs and sports stadiums. We felt very safe walking all over the area even late at night. It is easy to get to and from the airport via public transit, and Patrick thoughtfully provided all the necessary transit details by email prior to our arrival. We would definitely recommend Adare House and would definitely choose to stay there again should we ever return to Dublin. Genuine thanks to Patrick and Catherine for making this a great visit!

Patrick and Catherine Foy are the most caring people you could want to stay with. They are there when you need them and otherwise give you your space. Our bedroom was very large with windows overlooking the quiet backyard. The bathroom was also large and we felt very lucky to have these nice accommodations. Although we didn't have a car, there was parking room available. Breakfast was cooked to order...as simple or deluxe as you wish. We really appreciated it when Patrick called for our taxi to take us to Kilmainham Gaol and to the airport. While we could have taken a bus, the taxi was more efficient and it was so nice of Patrick to handle it. While waiting, we sat in the comfortable Victorian sitting room. The B&B is about 2-3 blocks on a quiet and safe residential street from a convenient bus stop for either the airport bus or the bus to town. It was very easy to deal with. There is a bank/ATM nearby as well as restaurants. We enjoyed conversations about families and politics. We now better understand the ramifications of Brexit. This was just the best place to stay in town and we highly recommend it!

My girlfriend and I chose Adare House for our last 3 nights of our vacation in Ireland and we were very right to do so. The house is built in Victorian style, more than 100 years old and very well kept by the owners, who care careful about maintaining its special historical feel. The bed was comfortable and the room cozy, quite small but this is the standard size in B&Bs about everywhere in Ireland, especially in older houses. A small wardrobe would have been useful but we managed ok without it as we are used to travelling light. Patrick was very helpful, provided a lot of information about Dublin and public transportation and reccomended a nice and very old pub for live music where we went on one evening. We left early to the airport the last morning and we were offered the possibility of having breakfast in the lovely dining room earlier than the standard breakfast time.

This was the second trip to Adare House, Patrick and Catherine are the most lovely people, warm and welcoming. The B&B is very clean and comfortable and the room was fabulous. The RDS is a 5 min walk through Pembroke Park, along with shops and restaurants, with the city center a short bus ride. I would not hesitate to recommend them. We are definitely going back again.xx
