Booked this appartment in advance in full 8months before travelling.... received email 3 weeks before due to go cancelling and saying will refund me.
Have tried to contact the place for 3 days with lots of emails chasing up and still failing to receive a response.
Now 3 weeks before travel hotels are a lot more expensive, this is a massive inconvenience and they are not taking any responsibility!
They are still also advertising for rent and is showing available on the weekend I have paid for but at double the cost! How can this be acceptable?

I booked a family break for a birthday at Jervis place through Booking.com and paid these apartments nearly £400 direct. Three days before the trip they sent an e mail cancelling the booking due to “unforeseen circumstances” after several e mails and calls ALL IGNORED I asked for a refund which again was ignored. They never actually refunded me the money. I have reported the company as I believe they are fraudulently obtaining funds via this method. They are still In Business as the reviews are still on other company sites so I think our room was resold at a higher price and they just chose to keep the money. They ignored the hosts e mails too and since have been removed from their site. I worry that they will start a fresh with someone else and continue to steal money. I’m now in a payment dispute with the bank etc chasing a refund after 28 days. This review corresponds to the JERVIS PLACE against the address shown (there are a few listed u see) - I can’t comment on the others but please take some time to look around - don’t risk your money with these low lives. If jervis place reply with any lies about this being fake I will happily copy and paste the e mail and the dispute references.
