Angelina on reception couldn’t do enough for us. Although the lift was needing maintenance when we arrived, she offered us a room on a lower level and could recommend local places to visit. Gladly took our bags to leave while waiting to check in and allowed us to store before leaving. Also allowed us to use the bathroom to freshen up before checking in. Location was great, central to everything you need while visiting Dublin and the rooms were spacious with great facilities especially if you were visiting with a family
This was my second time staying at StayCity Dublin Castle and it did not disappoint. Having the small, but well-apportioned kitchen meant that we didn’t have to go out for breakfast each morning and could store cold items in the fridge. Super friendly staff that helped us print out required travel documents at reception. A great location, too - you can walk to most major sites in Dublin within 10 mins.
I have recentry had extremely negative experience. I was about to book a room in Dublin, but before this I opened a chat and informed the agent about my intention and asked several questions. Unfortunately the agent took advantage of knowing the fact I'll make a reservation and a bit later when I opened the reservation form I was negatively surprised to see the prices went double. This is not a good practice at all as you lose such future clients like myself
Nice place to stay . Some basic cooking ingredients could make the kitchen more useful . slightly overpriced for value for money.Overall a good place to stay. We enjoyed it thoroughly.Trash , making of bed , cleaning toilets can be done every day for people staying for longer than 1-2 days
As a regular visitor to the fair city on business I thought I’d try Staycity as my preferred hotel was fully booked. The rooms are clean and well equipped, the bathroom was small but adequate and a very good shower. So, this is where it all goes a bit south for me. The room was like an oven! One window opened and also there was a Dyson fan in the room but still not cool enough, why is there no cooling? As it’s august and the weather was good, the window had to be open, but, the noise from the street was insane! Cars, trucks, people on there was home from the pubs, even a Spanish guy playing a guitar whilst walking down the street at 3.15 on a Thursday morning! I hate saying it, but, the 3 days I spent at staycity are the worst sleep nights I have had in years. If you are an insomniac, stay, as it’s a great place and maybe better in winter when you don’t need the window open.…
We have been trying to get a refund that is due to us. The are totally unresponsive. They said it was processed - yet my credit card company has no record. They don't respond to emails. We picked this place for easy cancellations and that is not so.
The Staycity Dublin Castle apartments are in an ideal location to go and explore Dublin. The apartments were very clean, comfortable and had everything needed for our stay. The reception staff were extremely helpful. Both mornings we had breakfast in the café downstairs and were very impressed at the quality and the price of the food. Would highly recommended these apartments to anyone that is thinking of visiting Dublin.
I’ve stayed here twice with work and can’t fault it. The staff are very friendly especially Angelica who was there on my more recent visit. The room was very clean and had everything you could need. Ten minute walk to city centre.
Perfect located in the Heart of Dublin. Five to ten Minuten Walk to Temple Bar and Grafton street. Clever styled Rooms with Kitchen and Bathroom. Very friendly Staff. Perfect Location for relaxed stay.
Each room in the apartment was closed off by a fire door. Thus the kitchen area is very small and confining. Not good for families or those who want to hang out. Kitchen sink is so small it can’t fit a pan to wash.
