I was so happy with my stay in Morehampton townhouse. Check in was so quick and easy. Parking was easy and feel car is very safe in this beautiful neighbourhood. I had dual aspect bedroom and loved my room. During covid times, I had a fridge and utensils to be self sufficient in my room and I really appreciated that. Room was spotless and I look forward to returning. Happily reccomend this place to anyone. Fantastic location.
First of all the location of the townhouse is in the posh part of Dublin, so it’s very safe, compared to other areas. There are plenty of buses cross the street, but if you like walking like me, the city centre is a 20min walk. This is an old house, so don’t expect the room to be all brand new. There were leak stains on the ceiling, the carpet was not new, but the room was fairly clean, the bathroom was impeccable and the price was unbeatable. The girls at the reception were very sweet too. I asked about where to buy a Leap travel card, Maya offered me to borrow her personal one! I highly recommend and I will definitely go back there if I’m ever back in Dublin!
I spent one night here just after Christmas. Check-in was very quick, smooth and easy. My room was small, but adequate. I had a very comfortable night’s sleep, and a very tasty bowl of porridge for breakfast, with access to the buffet table too. I had hoped to spend two nights in Dublin, but had to leave after the first night. I wasn’t looking for a refund, but I was given a complimentary breakfast 😊 I’m happy to recommend the Morehampton Townhouse, and I’d be happy to stay there any time.
Recently stayed here and it was absolutely terrible. The mattress on the bed was terrible we had to use the throw off the bed to put onto the mattress to stop the springs from digging into us. There was an electric heater in the room which wasn't ideal as we had a baby who is crawling. The fire alarm went off at 11:30pm nobody at reception to talk or guide us, no staff present atall. We were out on the street for good 20mins in the cold with a baby. When someone did arrive to turn the alarm off no explanation was given by the staff member or if the building was safe to re enter.?? I have sent numerous emails with no reply Do not stay here it's not worth your money or discomfort.
This is probably Good rather than Average, but not Very Good. Only stayed here for literally 12 hours overnight. Very friendly welcome on arrival but the room was a little 'tired'. Very clean to be fair and the bathing facilities were fine with a reasonable shower and plenty of hot water. Water, tea and coffee also provided in the room.
Visited on a very busy weekend so was restricted in choice of where I could stay. Was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It’s quite a bit out of town, but there’s regular bus trips to the centre from right outside. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet, despite being on a busy road. The internal shutters help block out any extra light/noise & are great fun. Just up the road from the hotel are some nice shops, eateries and a Tesco - very handy.
I needed a clean and safe hotel near my daughters house. This is it! Reasonably priced, clean and neat. Very clean and modern bathroom. The room was small but it was comfortable and fine for one person. Room #3. Read the sheets they leave in the room. You can close the heavy wooden shutters to block the street light and keep the heat in. I had a room on the Morehampton Road side. I love street noise to go to bed to. I find it soothing. It’s not super loud but if you need quiet ask for an inside room. The bus stop from the airport is almost right in front of the building. Maybe 50 steps away. Easy walk straight up Marlborough Rd. to the Ranalagh side . Cute area and the Luas stop is just a short walk away. Just a 20-25 minute walk into Dublin. Very pleasant and convenient. I will be a regular returning customer. No elevator so if you have mobility problems call ahead. Many steps leading up to the front door and two short flights to my room. Didn’t stop me but others may need to consider. Lovely place.…
Stayed here for one night.very nice hotel.staff very pleasant.breakfast full Irish.only thing for anyone with mobility problem,no lift for upper levels.room was very clean.within walking distance of the rds
Beautiful building, with very spacious rooms with full amenities. Lovely Irish breakfast or continual buffet in the morning with staff who were always happy and polite. Bit of a distance from city centre but it’s on the bus route or has a car park attached.
I liked the room, it was very clean and somewhat cozy. The location is a bit far from the city center but it was totally fine as we had a car. Personell was very friendly and the full irish breakfast was very tasty.
