Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here for a short city break. Located at the top of O’Connell street it’s in a great location. Bathroom was lovely, beds were comfy and the staff very helpful. The bar was really reasonably priced. Would recommend and stop here again.

Lovely afternoon tea with my partner. Staff were very attentive and efficient. Ambiance was very relaxed with modern furnishings. Tea and Coffee were unlimited and a refreshing water. The food was a mix of wraps and sandwiches (salad wrap, curried chicken sandwich, egg mayo, salmon and cream cheese), scones with fruit, cream, jam, petit four desserts (apple cake, vanilla cheesecake and triple chocolate mousse cake) - all were fresh and tasty.

This hotel is fantastic! A short 10 minute walk down O'Çonnell Street to the centre of the city. Small but very clean and well equipped rooms. Great breakfast. The staff need to be commended highly for their polite, friendly and efficient manner.

On first impressions this seems to be a lovely wee boutique hotel that is in a great central location. The rooms are small and the showers are very badly designed so the water goes everywhere. This means the wood is very badly damaged at the bathroom door. Nothing that will affect your stay but not the best looking. The only downside is that all off the staff seem to be in training. I completely understand this but there needs to be someone that knows what they are doing or at least have a sign up explaining this. On arrival there were 5 staff standing at reception but only 1 person serving the 5 different parties checking in. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on this but overall a nice hotel with comfy beds and nice coffee in the room. For Dublin not bad value for money either.

Super impressed with Hotel 7 and would stay here again if I visited Dublin. Good location which was walking distance to destinations such as Temple Bar and the Guinness Storehouse. Every member of staff was friendly, attentive and accommodating to any requests. We had to wait 30 minutes for our room to be ready for early check in and the hotel staff were apologetic and managed to get things turned around as soon as possible. We were also gifted free breakfast vouchers due to the inconvenience which was appreciated. Rooms were on the small side but were clean and tidy and had everything you needed for a pleasant and comfy stay. The breakfast offered in the restaurant was lovely. Everything was super clean and the food offered cooked to perfection! The decor of the overall hotel was beautiful. It was Christmas so everything was very festive which was lovely. I couldn’t fault anything with Hotel 7. Would recommend to anyone visiting Dublin to stay here.

Very nice room, staff and location. Easy to get to busses, restaurants and tourists attractions. Comfortable and quiet. It has a restaurant but I did not go to it. Staff were always available to assist and answer questions.

I stayed here for a concert and it was perfect, close to city centre and transport. The girls Laura H and Patricia on the desk were friendly and very helpful. Food was lovely and Lucy in the bar was efficient and very friendly even when busy. Will definitely stay again

Hotel 7 makes a pleasant Dublin stay -- convenient location just off O'Connell. Yes, double-double room makes for tight quarters, but all else is good. The breakfast is fine, the staff professional and personable, and very responsive to requests.

Nice hotel off Parnell square and close to O'Connell Street and the City Centre. The reception gives good advice on what to see in Dublin and how to get there. Rooms are of decent size and well apportioned. Sleep quality is good - good mattresses.....
