We visited as part of a work dinner and I had heard good things from friends who had eaten here before. Unfortunately the food was very average. I ordered a steak that was undercooked and full of fat. One of the worst steaks I had eaten in years. Others who had the seafood were happy but I would not be...

Anniversary lunch with my significant other. Set menu for Sunday. Was really put off by the waiter, who seemed quite taken aback that one of us wanted a starter and the other didn't...and only one of us wanted wine. Also felt he was trying to literally sell the side dishes to us. Wasn't overwhelmed with the food either. Found the...

We enjoyed a sumptuous Sunday roast here just last weekend. We were staying in the sister property 'The Cliff at Lyons' so were pretty sure we were in for a treat. And indeed we were. Our starters were fabulous, the accompanying breads included a yummy Guinness soda bread, and the beef was melt in the mouth delicious. If only we...

I had wondered for months what was happening to what was once the “La Mere Zou", I was pleasantly surprised to find a bright stylish wine bar. now the newly owned and named Urchin bar at the Cliff Town House.I wouldn't exactly call it a wine bar because there is an extensive cocktail menu that is truly superb created by...

We were very pleasantly greeted after walking in on Saturday at 5:30. The were no tables but there were seats at the oyster bar....

This is a fine dine restaurant not a Townhouse , the details on there web page are totally not what the experience we had and can honestly say we would never recommend this establishment to any family or friends. This establishment has so ruined an well advertised experience that left two families in total confusion into the meaning of customer...

We went for a meal over christmas. Starters were lovely, with the scallops being the best we had ever tasted. Main was steak. perfectly cooked, and went lovely with the bottle of red we got. Dessert then, where we split the cheese board and creme brulee (both looked to good to decide which to get, so we settled on both!)...

We waited just inside the door for the front of house guy to return to his station. 5 min later he returns grumpy and then seats the couple who walked in just moments ago Finally seated in cramped conditions. Wine list is poor in my opinion so we opt for some prosecco and a bottle of red. My ceviche tuna...

My husband and I went here for lunch on Monday and it was delicious. We did not have a reservation but we were lucky to get the last table. The restaurant was very busy for lunch but there was a great atmosphere. My husband had the scallops to start and they were three large ones and cooked beautifully. I had...

This is a great spot in Dublin, fantastic wine list. One of the finest eateries in Dublin. We had great seafood and finished with beautiful steak. Desserts are very good as well. Highly recommended, the service was very professional.
