Walking around Dublin we stopped in to just to warm up and have some pub food...little did we know that we'd be impressed. The atmosphere..the starters and the mains were nicely presented and delicious. If there was one thing they need to work on would be their deserts. Regardless...we'll be back...looking forward the next visit!
Went for a catch up with friends and ordered some food. Nothing was fresh and all reheated and awful looking and tasting. When we asked the server about it we were told it was “cooked today “ clearly had been cooked for lunch and then reheated. Need a new pub for a catch up and some food now. We won’t be back
The lazana was too hot and was like 500 quid like cmon like. Also there was a hen party and for some reason they where all dressed as waldo. Like who dose shots at 11am wtf. Also the coke i got tasted like it was sitting in the sun for 5 months and 12 days. but other than that it was god dam delightful.
We arrived at about 11 in the morning, and got a room immediately, which was very nice! The room was fine. For the money we spent on it, the room was quite large and with a view out to Pearse Street, which we found very cozy! Despite our pleasure with the room and the early check in, there were some issues; The wifi was shoddy. It was fine for the first couple of days, but then completely disappeared. Wasnt a big problem for us, but as a hotel who advertises it, some guest has it as a necessary factor, when ordering hotels. The bathroom also had some major problems, in that the flush on the toilet was broken and the ceiling within the shower was full of black spots, which I saw as fungus (NOT SURE ABOUT THAT THOUGH)
accommodation clean, period features, comfortable beds, central location. ate in bar below, food amazing, service exceptional, would highly recommend, lovely atmosphere and good value. be warned to bring own shampoo however as soap only in bathroom, although shower great and hairdryer provided.
