Looks lovely. Grounds pleasant. Rooms good size. Staff friendly and obliging. Dinner in the restaurant was nice but expensive. Had planned to have some drinks at the bar afterwards, so looked for cash back to pay the babysitter however the reception and bar staff were adamant that there is no cash back facility and no option to add babysitting to...

My son had bought a two night stay at this beautiful hotel which included B&B for both nights plus one evening meal. It was a birthday/Christmas treat that I couldn't wait to experience. My husband and I arrived on a very blustery Thursday afternoon in February. The room was perfect very spacious and clean. The staff very friendly and professional....

9.5 put of ten for lough Eske - wonderful hotel in a quiet corner of county Donegal. The staff were amazing, helpful, courteous and at all times professional. The food is to die for and not overpriced and the rooms are amazing. We loved the setting - lovely lakeside walks and forest tracks for those who want to stay nearby....

My husband and I have just returned from an enjoyable two night stay in the castle. The staff were really lovely, friendly and attentive. I would however say that to me this hotel is not up to the 5* that I was expecting. Our deluxe room was nice but definitely had some obvious wear and tear . Our room was...

Just back from a one night stay here and wished we could have stayed longer. The service was top class, Liam in the restaurant was a credit to the hotel. The food was the best we've had in any hotel in Ireland. Our room was fabulous and so spacious. The pool and spa were amazing. Will definitely be back.

5* my other reviews go into details. This is through most relaxing break you can take north of Sligo. The spa, the restaurant, the bar and the walks are all top class. A trip into the town is great for a look but all your needs can be met at lough eske
