Ardlenagh View is a beautiful and immaculate Inn. As you walk in the front door there a vase of fresh flowers on the side table with a heavenly aroma. There are sheep and lambs roaming in the green meadow outside our suite window, with a beautiful view of Donegal Bay.

The Inn is centrally located for day trips throughout Donegal County. It is a short drive to the carpark for easy walking access to restaurants, shopping and pubs.

Our Innkeeper, Eileen greeted us upon our arrival with a warm welcome accompanied by a proper pot of tea and a plate of biscuits!
Eileen is a wealth of knowledge about County Donegal and offers suggestions about areas of interest that only a local would know.

Each morning Miss Eileen serves a FULL Irish breakfast in her sunny dining room. The Inn is immaculate in each and every room of the Inn.

I would highly recommend this Inn for its’ charm, location, view, and wonderful Innkeepers Eileen and Tony Mulhern.

We stayed for 2 nights. It was the first B&B we stayed at on our vacation. We had a wonderful experience. The B&B is up on a hill with a marvelous view. It's just a few miles out of town and very convenient to Donegal. The Malhern's are very hospitable. Our room was comfortable. It was probably the most convenient as far as the size of the bathroom and bedroom. There was plenty of room for our suitcases, etc. We really appreciated the teapot in our room. The breakfast was wonderful with a cold buffet and a full Irish breakfast. We will stay here again.

My friend and I had decided to wing it and find a place to stay in Donegal Town about an hour before we arrived. We read the reviews on Trip Advisor and ended up calling Ardlenagh View because they were one of the few B&Bs will availability on such short notice. We called and spoke with Tony right away. He let us know there would be a place for us to stay as soon as we arrived. Eileen let us in and shows us to our large, clean and spacious room. The internet connection was strong, the bathroom was beautiful with a great shower. And the perfectly placed rainbow outside our room was the cherry on top of a very easy visit. We had a wonderful breakfast the next morning and were on our way out. We'd absolutely stay again and recommend Ardlenagh highly!

Thank you Tony & Eileen for accommodating us on such short notice and for the perfect stay!

This is possibly a great B&B as most of the reviews say but when we arrived after seeing the sign at the gate everything went wrong . We asked to see the room and it looked fine but the price we felt was above the budget level we had set for our travels . The Lady said she had a smaller room at a lower price so we had a look . We checked the bed linen as we always do and were about to say yes we would love the room when she in an abrupt manner said she felt'' it would be better if we went some ware else''. So after telling her what we thought of her attitude left ,our departure was delayed as she held the car door offering an apology . Sorry Not accepted . We have stayed in nearly 300 B&B all over Europe ,never booking and always check the room , shower and bed linen with never a problem . We found a B&B next door who was happy to take our money during the tough times Ireland is facing

The location of the home is very nice, on a hill overlooking Donegal. We arrived around 7pm. The first comment we got was what kept us so late. Interesting way to be greeted. Eileen did offer us tea which we appreciated. While we were sitting in the living room with another couple we overhead them say they were having trouble with the wifi. They asked Tony to help with the wifi and he commented in a not so pleasant voice, "I told you three times..." The next morning Tony accused us several times of keeping him awake all night. One person in our group is an early riser and got up at 5:00 am. Apparently he didn't think that was appropriate for someone to be up that early even though they want you out the door by 10:00 am. The place was nice enough, the rooms were comfortable, but I wouldn't stay here again because of the way we and other guests were treated. We had such great stays at other B&Bs. This one was disappointing.

This place is truly jaw dropping! The view of the Bay will take your breath away, yet is is close enough to Donegal to allow us time to explore! Our host was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction for sightseeing and dinner, and our whole experience was perfect!!

Could you really ask for a nicer place to stay than here! Our party of 4 was was warmly welcomed by Tony who ushered us into the common area where a nice warm peat fire was burning to help usher the chill from our bones. The common room was warmly furnished in oak and leather and really made you feel right at home. Tony kept the fire burning for us all evening while we read after coming back from dinner at a lovely restaurant he recommended that was just a five minute drive from the B&B. Our room was huge and had a commanding view of country side. This B&B sits on top of a hill and is beautifully landscapped. This B&B is spotless and offered a great breakfast that was served by both Tony and his wife Eileen who could not have been any more accomodating that they were. Thanks to them for a geat stay.

I believe most of us have similar expectations when traveling. We want comfortable, clean, convenient accomodations. Ardlenagh View is all of those, but the greatest attraction is the owners. Tony and Eileen are fantastic people. Personable, accomodating, and absolutely sincere in their desire to make their guests feel welcome and happy. Of course, there is more still to like; the rooms are large and comfortable, the views and serenity are first rate, and the breakfast superb. We'll visit Donegal again, and when we do we'll be calling Ardlenagh View home while we're there.

Ardlenagh View is a very quiet and very pleasant place with a wonderful view. The owners are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They give advice about restaurants and places to visit.
The room was very beautiful and comfortable and the living room decoration was pretty with the fireplace. The breakfast is varied and excellent. I recommend this place without hesitation.
