We stayed here last weekend for my hen party, 34 of us! It was absolutely amazing. The weekend was a surprise for me so when we drove into the grounds I was in awe, beautiful grounds and a gorgeous home. It was absolutely perfect for us. I hope to stay again soon!
We are just back from spending a weekend at Donegal Manor for a hen party. There was 34 of us in total and we had the manor to ourselves. It was perfect location wise, amazing outside areas. Clean, modern, comfy rooms. Massive kitchen where you can cook or order in outside catering also. We walked into Donegal town to the bars and restaurants by day and at night time taxis were readily available. Can thank the hosts enough will we definitely be back!!
Amazing facilities, large living area, dining room area, kitchen and outside grounds. Rooms are all en-suite, clean and spacious. Washing and drying facilities. Walking distance to town. Highly recommend for large groups, stags or hens. Thanks for really looking after us!
Well - where do I start! I emailed Sian initially in a huge panic as my last accommodation cancelled on me a month before my group of 34 was due to arrive. Sian was literally and angel sent to make everything right! She was incredible, was able to get my booking confirmed right away and give me all the information I needed prior. (I had her tortured with questions🙈) Sian and Michael were the best hosts I have ever had to deal with! Honestly couldn’t of met a nicer couple who where so accommodating and helpful throughout! The house itself is INCREDIBLE😍 It completely exceeded our expectations! Each room is so stunning in its own way! The whole building including the rooms have character, comfort and luxury! I stayed in the ‘Lady Nuala’ room and omg that bed was the comfiest bed I’ve slept on! With such a large group, I was extremely worried about being in charge and was nervous when leaving incase it wasn’t perfect - but again, Sian made me feel at ease again! She was also able to provide me with information and recommendations for food info/taxis/bars etc! Such a genuine and lovely person and I hope to meet you again in the future :) Each and every person on the trip had OUTSTANDING reviews all round. Truly stunning. Thank you for everything Sian & Michael! Lots of love, Fionnuala - and of course, Carolyn’s Hen group May 2022 x…
We stayed here on 18th September 2020. After a week in Donegal, we booked this accommodation as the reviews were excellent. We were not disappointed, we arrived late due to a hike and swim on the way from Arranmore. Very good recommendation for dinner in donegal town and the hosts are nice welcoming people. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is amazing and we couldnt fault our stay. People would be disappointed staying here. Thank you.
We had a wonderful night at this establishment. The staff are absolutely divine. Large room absolutely nickel, spacious, very clean. The excellent breakfast with "House" products Close to the center of Donegal, which allows you to walk and eat in a very nice restaurant. I absolutely recommend this establishment
Stayed for one night. Michael was exceptionally welcoming explaining new regulations etc and presenting us with two lovely slices of gingerbread. Room spotless and spacious with fridge and everything required. Bed was so comfortable we slept great. Started the next morning with a nice walk and back for a lovely breakfast of fruit and yogurt, toast, poached eggs and avocado and fresh wheaten bread. Definitely recommend this place and hope to visit again when in Donegal. Thank you to all the lovely staff at breakfast. Ballycastle Co Antrim.
Our family spent an excellent weekend here celebrating our father's 90th birthday. Sian and Michael went to a lot of trouble to be sure it was extra special and that we all felt safe in our surroundings. Breakfasts were delicious, rooms spacious and comfortable. Lots of outside seating space and they even supplied beautiful weather 😉 Thankyou again for a wonderful weekend.
On the recent visit , our third in the last two years . Even with the covid world we are living in now, everything was excellent . Everything has been though of to make you feel safe and comfortable without losing the excellent quality that has been the norm.Breakfasts are great and attention to detail everywhere but still very relaxing .
The only negative I can think of is that we only stayed one night! Sian was the best host ever - she couldn’t do enough to help make our stay perfect. We had a small group as a pre wedding getaway and Sian organised a cooking class which was fantastic fun, then we had afternoon tea with all our produce. Sian and Michael arranged a taxi the short distance into town and were helpful in suggesting live music venues. The rooms were huge and very comfortable with everything we could want. Breakfast was fresh home cooking with great selection including home made breads, pastries etc. Really enjoyed our short stay and will definitely be back for longer next time.
