Yes this is an oldish Hotel but it has tons of charter. From the moment we stepped in the door and were greeted by a smiling Lorna to leaving having the banter with the night staff this was a fun filled pleasurable time. From the Manager Danny where nothing was a problem the bar staff the hotel staff to other...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 26 September 2016

Stayed at this very friendly hotel for four nights this month, with a coach tour with GB Tours. I was impressed with this hotel from the start, we arrived fairly late at this hotel at 10.00 pm, and a very good dinner was awaiting us, and was well served. I have been to many hotels arriving late for dinner and...

We stayed here three years ago for just one night and decided to try our luck again - this time for two nights. The hotel had not changed at all which is not necessarily a bad thing. Parking is available just down the road from the hotel (voucher provided) and that can be a little frustrating when it's pouring with...

The hotel is in the middle of Donegal and is very nice and the staff helpful, the only downside is the que to wait for breakfast at busy times due to a very small breakfast room and the hotel having many bedrooms it just can't cope.

I usually stay at B&B's, but was looking forward to this beautifully furnished hotel. Rooms and bathroom beautiful. Breakfast was okay, but the bacon dried out both days. The young girl serving Feb 21st breakfast needed some personality and warmth. Came in late 1 AM to find the hotel locked up, but not to worry there was an intercom system....

Nice hotel in the middle of town centre, rooms a bit dated but very clean with cozy beds. It could get quite noisy on Saturday nights but we asked for a quiet room on high floor and we got it :) Slept like a babies. Breakfast room was extremely busy in the morning, had to queue to get a table,...

My special requests were met exactly. All the staff were very friendly especially as I was ill during the first night. Nothing was too much bother.Have been on other coach tours...

We were staying in The Central hotel and popped into The Abbey for a few drinks. Served by Andrew who was very friendly. He went out of his way to explain local areas as tourists we should visit. We did not dine on this occasion but I like The Abbey. The bar area is very nice for having a drink.
