Felt very welcome from the moment I walked in with the wonderful receptionist Steffani looking after me and finding me a last minute room. Although the decor was a bit dated in the room it was very clean. The food and service in the bar and restaurant as well as at breakfast was superb. Not only was it high quality food but it was served with a smile with the friendly Ciara doing a great job. All in all I was so impressed by the atmosphere with staff going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome which is not easy in these strange COVID times. I would definitely recommend and will be returning.

This hotel was a real disappointment from the minute we walked in the door. The receptionist was unfriendly. Told us we could not have breakfast until after 9am. When we tried to book dinner we could not use either the bar or the restaurant. The toilets in the public areas are locked, you need to go to reception for a key. I wonder why they bother to open. When we got to the room it just got worse. The room smelt musty and the furniture looked like it had come from a jumble sale. The room was actually a good size but the furniture was dreadful. There is no parking or anywhere to unload a car. The whole place was a real disappointment. We went across the road to the Olde Castle Bar for dinner and they suggested Blas for breakfast. Wish we had stayed at Blas too. It was very expensive for what it is.

Recently had a fab break in Donegal! This hotel has been a long standing family favourite of ours! Well worth a stay or a stop off for some food and drinks. Have to say the staff made it for us. Nothing like a bit of Irish craic while being served good drinks and even better food. We had food in the bar served by the lovely Tracy topped up with drinks in the residents lounge. Dylan was our bar man for the evening who was a breath of fresh air! If I had to give a negative it would be that the residents lounge looked a bit bare and could be doing with a little TLC! Other than that I will be back to say hello and for more of the same.
