Truly a wonderful stay in Harvey’s point for 3 nights in a beautiful lakeshore suite with stunning views of lough Eske. Will certainly stay here again. The only down side was the standards of food in the bar was poor and expensive however the food in the restaurant was very good.

My girlfriend surprised me with a fantastic overnight stay at Harvey’s point towards the end of our recent trip to visit her family in Derry. Upon our arrival we were shown to our room by Euan on Concierge who was incredibly helpful and throughout our stay was always happy to give directions and ask how our stay was. We were placed in one of the suites which was a marvellous room with a very large and comfortable bed, a beautifully decorated bathroom with a great sized bathtub with a stunning view of the loch. Dinner in the main restaurant was nothing short of spectacular. We had the scallops for starter, the beef and duck for our main and throughout the staff were very friendly and professional in their manner and ensuring we were enjoying everything. Next morning, breakfast had a great selection of a full Irish and continental which was self service There are pleasant walks all Around the grounds and local area and Donegal town is a few miles away, making this an ideal out of the way location. The only downside to our stay was that we could only stay 1 night! We most certainly hope to be back in the not too distant future. This is truly a fantastic hotel for any occasion.

My husband and I finally got to return to this wonderful hotel again after 3 years.. this latest visit was every bit as enjoyable as our first visit.. the accommodation in the hotel was truly fabulous- really spacious and comfortable ( only thing missing is AC , so room was very warm when we stayed, ) From the very warm welcome we received on arrival and throughout our stay all staff were professional, very pleasant , helpful and friendly . Food in both the restaurant and bar was excellent., breakfast is truly wonderful. Entertainment in the bar on one of the nights we were there was provided by the entertainer Francis Canning - who seemed to be able to play any tune on the piano, - a very nice gentleman who walked about and chatted to guests in the bar during his break.. we were really sorry we were leaving the next day as we would miss his second night entertaining guests.. Overall our stay was really wonderful and we were very glad we returned to Harvey’s. Will definitely be returning again and will plan to stay longer than the 2 days we had this time.

We just returned from a two-night stay at Harvey's Point. The staff were friendly & helpful in all departments without exception. Our suite was spacious, beautifully decorated with a view of the mountains and the bathroom fabulous with a jacuzzi bath and rainforest shower. We ate on our first evening in The Lakeside restaurant, which did not disappoint from the starters to the dessert. On our second night we dined in Harvey's the more casual of the two options and the food was lovely, both dining options offered boundless views of the lake. High recommend for a relaxing break

My wife and I were greeted on arrival by the very charming Noel and this set the tone for a weekend of absolute relaxation. Our room with window seats overlooking the lake was just immaculate and incredibly spacious. The bar has a lovely slow pace and open fire on once side to get you comfortable immediately. The breakfast is just out of this world, the pancakes and ham are a must when you are here. Could not recommend this enough. We will be back soon...
