Great location , clean and nice meals, better than a lot of other hotels used by tour companies so go for it if you want to see Donegal. Nice shops, tearooms and pubs. Nice Donegal Tweed garments in the Irish House in the diamond so treat yourself.

While the location was very convenient and the price was quite reasonable, nothing else about the hotel was particularly nice. It is unattractive and dated (but not in a charming way). Our room was stuffy, there is no air conditioning, and the window opened a maximum of about 3/4 inch. (We were there at the very end of September.) The...

Great location for visiting Donegal but just found the hotel rooms tired. The décor was dated and needed refreshed. Its a bit of a warren to navigate the bedroom layout but you do get there eventually. Staff very pleasant and there were tour busses visiting. They do have renovation work going on in the Grand Ballroom and work begins at...

In the center of town. Difficult to get your luggage out and to your room. Parking down the street. No one to assist with luggage. Staff was friendly enough. Great breakfast. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and attractions. Our view was over the back which was not attractive and renovations were taking place.

Our room was delightful - huge. Four poster bed., Wooden spiral staircase (out of bounds) lovely leather armchairs & table. Bathroom perfect. Huge windows which looked out toward Donegal Bay. (Good for Heron watching!!) Cosy & quiet. Staff friendly. Meals boring (same veg for all the four nights we were there). Needs some imagination!! - not in a negative way....
