We arrived at the Millpark late on a Friday evening after we had been let down by another booking in a different establishment...we were greeted by an extremely pleasant and helpful receptionist Niamh who took the greatest of care in getting us sorted with accommodation for the night and assured us that she would do her best to get us sorted for the following night also...and true to her word we were greeted by her cheery self the next morning after a delightful breakfast that she could accommodate us for the remainder of the weekend. The rooms are spacious impeccably clean and well laid out, all staff a joy to deal with and the whole demeanor of the hotel is inviting and extremely hospitable. I will have no hesitation in returning to the Millpark it's the jewel in Donegal's crown.…
Great stay. Lovely room 212. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Would have loved to stay longer. Staff super friendly. Breakfast was wonderful 👍 with everything you could possibly want. Great hotel in the heart of Donegal.
We stayed in room 120 it was lovely & comfortable & warm, plenty of space for 2 adults & a child. Bathroom was very modern & water was hot in shower Had a meal in the restaurant it was delicious We will be back
We stayed here for 2 nights and cannot fault the hotel or the staff. Our room was spotlessly clean, staff so friendly, especially in the restaurant-lovely chat with them. There is a warmth to this hotel other hotels do not have. Our son was napping during the time housekeeping were cleaning the rooms. I asked later if it was too late for our room to be cleaned and was told that housekeeping would be leaving in 10 minutes. The receptionist said she would go round and clear the glasses out of our room. When I returned to the room, the bed had been made and everything was looking immaculate again. As a very exhausted mum of a young baby, I cannot express how grateful I felt to crawl into a freshly made bed. It was the best feeling. Perfect stay. We would love to return! They are very child / baby friendly …
I use Mill Park every few months as an overnight business stay. It is a beautiful hotel with such a relaxed atmosphere. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and the food is fantastic. I would have no hesitation in recommending.

We stayed at the Mill Park hotel for New Year 2023 and we had the most enjoyable stay. The hotel itself is lovely, everything so clean, nice areas to sit, lovely restaurant. But the thing that really makes the Mill Park stand out is the staff, from the receptionists, bar staff, restaurant staff, cleaners, right up to the managers and the owners, they simply could not do enough for you, nothing was too much trouble. We asked for a room change because our window would not close fully, no problem. We got hungry @ 10pm one night and cheekily asked for sandwiches (which most places would refuse) and we given sausages and goujons by the owners! The politeness and cheerfulness of all staff is to be commended, and that is the real asset of the hotel. Keep doing it, it didn’t go unnoticed. If there was any small improvement that could be made it would be a small play area for kids. And the guy playing musing on New Years eve wasn't great! …
We stayed in The Mill Park Hotel over New Years weekend. It was a great weekend. Lovely facilities and the pool was great. Staff also lovely and helpful. The only fault about the weekend was the noise from the weddings and the fire alarm going off. Thankfully our baby did not waken. The Mill Park will be a more enjoyable experience once they stop weddings for people who are there for a relaxed weekend. Loved The Cove area as it was an area for our kids to relax in. The restaurant was very good and the staff were excellent. Would definitely recommend and will be back again in the future.
I could not recommend The Millpark Hotel highly enough .I stayed for 2 nights for my daughters wedding which she had there. The rooms are spacious clean and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast is fabulous .As a wedding venue it is superb 👌. The staff are excellent and a special shout out to Mary the wedding coordinator .
Attended a family wedding at the Mill Park hotel and stayed 2 nights. As wedding venue, it’s certainly a great spot, as hotel venue having stayed there and used some of facilities I have to say it’s a great spot and I would definitely stay there again. Rooms, we had a family room with 2 singles and one double bed. Party was two ad and 2 teens. Spacious comfy and didn’t feel closed in. Bathroom nice size and big shower. Very nicely decorated. Trouser iron and ironing board there too. Restaurant bar breakfast area. Food was superb throughout stay. Wedding fayre was great and plentiful. The breakfast buffet was hot, not greasy and tasty. Also ate at restaurant and have was impressed with starters and mains that were ordered. All looked substantial and tasty, the food I ordered myself was really tasty. All in all a lovely stay. Hotel is in walking distance to centre of Donegal town and would provide a nice base if exploring the surrounding areas. Did not use leisure centre however was clearly signed and if at same standards of hotel then im sure would’ve been a nice experience. Look forward to going back.…
