We stayed here at end of September for our wedding anniversary. On arrival we were delighted to accept an upgrade room from a very friendly receptionist . Room was very clean and well serviced. Friendliness of staff and efficiency really stood out over our 4 day break. Food was excellent and we always felt safe with the measures taken by the hotel regarding covid. Would highly recommend this hotel. Although this was the first time staying at The Millpark Hotel , I hope it’s not the last !

We as a group of Car Enthusiasts visiting the Donegal area in September 2020 (12 Cars). Our two day stay at the Mill Park Hotel in Donegal for B&B and Dinner each evening, the Hotel ranks among one of our good hospitality experiences during our trip. The facilities and services were excellent, the genuine friendliness of all the staff in particular Tony Mc Dermott MD, he deserves a special mention. Strict measures for controlling Covid risks were very evident throughout the hotel, ensuring we felt safe at all times. There was one incident where perhaps a lack of communications perhaps on both sides required to be resolved, Tony McDermott at once resolved the issue, thank you. This was our 2nd outing to the Hotel and will certainly not be our last.

Having visited many of Ireland’s top 4 & 5 star hotels, we can honestly state that our recent stay in the Mill Park in Donegal ranks among the best of our most memorable hospitality experiences. The outstanding facilities and service are second to none, and the genuine friendliness of all the staff deserves a special mention. Strict measures for controlling Covid risks were very evident throughout the hotel, ensuring we felt safe at all times. This hotel is a real gem, located in beautiful surroundings and within walking distance of Donegal Town. It’s a great credit to the owners who were very visible in the ground during our stay, and we have no hesitation in giving this hotel our highest recommendation. Also, whilst fully respecting the opinions of others we find it very disappointing to have read some of the negative reviews previously posted.. they certainly are not truly representative of this hotel, and we can only conclude that no matter how the high standards some people just cannot be pleased! We stayed here for 3 nights during our “staycation”. I have to say it was the most impressive. The location is absolutely perfect. About 1km from Donegal town and the hotel itself sits on a roundabout which gives you access to all roads around Donegal. The food was absolutely top class, a really good selection of different foods, we didn’t have enough time to try them all! The decor throughout was stunning, the restaurant was very modern and the breakfast area was a lovely loft area over looking the bar below. The leisure facilities were all there as well, good sized pool and jacuzzi. Covid was managed very well, santizers and one way systems through out. Staff were all very very friendly and helpful. If you’re staying in Donegal look no further.
