Spent 2 nights in the Montenotte this week and it was amazing!! Room and pool are fabulous! The best part though was the amazing service in the restaurant/bar! The food was delicious and the staff are brilliant! They could not do enough for us during our stay and were so friendly. The vibe in the hotel was just perfect. I had just come from a “5 star” in Killarney and I can safely say the Montenotte was SOO much nicer!! I will definitely be returning very soon!! Thank you!! 😊

Hotel's Favourite
I have never experienced such a stellar team of staff, from their main reception desk to their bar and restaurant staff we were truly enchanted by every single member of staff we came across over our stay from Elaine's great welcome on the front desk to Roisin who kindly showed us to our seats for the complimentary film screening in their cinema room! The setting and standard of the Montenotte is second to none, truly prestigious and worthy of a five star rating thanks to their exemplary performance. Keep up the great work, we cant wait to visit you again, thank you!

Quirky meets modern luxury! Fab hotel. Trendy feel the second you walk in the door thanks to the quirky decor. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms really nice. Very clean. The absolute best part of this hotel was its food! Wow!! Please try the Tamahalk 40oz steak to share, was just fab. Beware… food is pricey! Beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking city but unfortunately weather was bad so was closed. There’s even a small cinema in the hotel which screens different movies each night and you can take your drinks in which is a bonus. The one and only mishap we encountered was a foreign member of staff really had no understanding of what we were ordering due to language barrier, and our drinks came wrong along with food order, which we were a little annoyed over I got to admit as we feel she should not have been out front of house if she couldn’t speak English. This was rectified by the manager coming to apologise to us and it did make us feel a little better about it but we were not offered any drinks or anything to compensate for the mishaps which would have been nice seen as our dinner order was quite expensive. It was also “realised” by a staff member at the time we were due to order desert that in fact we had been given the lunch menu instead of the dinner menu, luckily it was almost the same. A few little bumps with drinks too, they ran out of a particular spirit after our first drink which I was surprised about as they were closed for so long you’d think stock would be ensured to be plentiful. These are just small mishaps and really wouldn’t cause us not to return but I still feel it should have been a little more organised for the prices guests pay. Breakfast was good. Check out was quick and efficient. Hotel is a drive into city, too far to walk. Overall really lovely place with some of the nicest food we had.

Fantastic little one night staycation after another long lockdown! Highly recommend - amazing staff, room, facilities, restaurant food etc... who knew this little beauty was on my doorstep.. If you get a chance go stay there... you will not regret it. The staff literally cannot do enough to help you. Well run especially in the times we are living in.. Well done to the Montenotte ...I'll be back for a cocktail on the terrace very soon!

We had the most amazing post lockdown stay here and everyone we encountered could not have been more welcoming and friendly. The staff in reception, the panorama bistro and everywhere in between were the best I’ve come across. Food and drinks were absolutely delicious, room was beautiful and the spa treatments are to die for. We can’t wait to return to our new favourite hotel!
