We traveled to Cork, very excited to be in one of the cities of our heritage. The outside of this B&B looked quaint so we decided to stay. We were invited in but then had to wait about 30 minutes to be taken to our room because the owner wasn't there. She rushed in but then had to run out...

This was an unfortunate find on our trip to Ireland. The beds were uncomfortable and had rooms were less than basic. They had an odor that was unidentifiable for the most part. There was no breakfast which would simply make this a "bed and..." The hostess occupied the gathering are yo entertain so we were unable to gather at the...

Stayed here for the cork Jazz. In a strange turn of events, we ended up staying here in achill house after an "overbooking" issue in our original b&b. We were instantly welcomed by Helena who provided us with a nice double room with an ensuite which was exactly what we were looking for and expecting per our original booking (which...

Stayed here for 4 nights, and thought it was excellent. The owner was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was good and well presented. Parking on site and easy walking distance into the city centre.

I stayed in this BnB for one night earlier this month (July 2015). The room I was given was the smallest room I have ever seen in any hotel / guest house anywhere in the world. It was dank and had a musty, old sort of smell. The pillows were hard and flat. The worst part about this BnB was...

I have never in my life had a worse accommodation experience than in this B&B, to such an extent that I set up this account purely to let people know. After being charged €65 for a night (and then told the next morning that breakfast is a further €7 of a charge). I was awoken from my sleep at 9.00...

I would like you to remove this review from my profile. The young man never mentioned that he had no means to pay for his accommodation when he checked in and I was kind enough to arrange accommodation for him on the understanding that he would pay the following morning. On the following morning i had to wake the man...

My husband, adult daughter and I recently spent two nights at this B&B as part of our first visit to Ireland. Our room had a double and a single bed and was larger than I expected (I've stayed in a number of B&B's and they are typically small). The shower was also a comfortable size and shampoo and soap was...

We arrived in Cork too late to really select a good B&B, so we ended up here. Our room, unfortunately, was on the street side. No, we didn't get a good night's sleep, which we sorely needed. Breakfast was ho-hum. Nothing special here.
