Lovely guest house - it was clean, nicely decorated, spacious room and the breakfast was delicious. The parking spaces were down a rather steep ramp which was a bit of a heart stopper but it was large and a lot of availability. Short walk into Cork with various restaurants and pubs on way. I would recommend Gabriels.

My wife and I stayed at Gabriel House during a recent visit to Ireland. It sits about a 10-minute walk from the edge of the city and maybe 15-20 from city center. It's extremely convenient to get around, but we liked the quietness of being a bit outside of the city itself. While it is a B&B, there are somewhere...

breakfast and the huge garden with a great view. Also the beds and bathroom were perfect. The staff waited late for us as we were delayed arriving which was lovely and appreciated. It was tricky to find as it was up a steep hill and we arrived late at night...also the entrance to the car park is not for the...

Great friendly staff, located a short walk (10 min) from city centre, it's a lovely old building that has been updated to a great standard. Amazing shower in my room. Hugh comfy bed and wifi that works. Breakfast was fab, with loads of choice. It has a large car park.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful from the moment of arrival to the moment of leaving. The building is a beautiful Georgian building with a shallow sweeping staircase so even though i have mobility issues it wasn't a problem. Neither was the steep slope down into the building. I just allowed plenty of time and took things easy. The...

A bit of an uphill walk, but worth it. Very friendly staff, nice clean rooms, full breakfast. I didn't love Cork City, but I did like these lodgings. They gave me info for self-guided walks, which I enjoyed.

After originally being a bit daunted by the difficult access (we approached from coming uphill then went past & entered driving downhill to make it easier) & the slope of the car park, we received a warm friendly welcome on arrival with lots of advice & a map as to how to spend our evening in Cork. There are discounts...

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts I must admit the hill is daunting for most people unless you are from San Francisco. The electricity is accessed by key card to prevent items over heating when guests leave hair straighteners etc plugged in on leaving the room. All bedside lights can be switched off either from the...

A weekend break at a good rate was very enjoyable. Goodbreakfast and friendly staff. Even though I was a solo traveller I was given a nice spacious double room. A maid confirmed that 112 - 113 - and 114 were the best with City views.

Booked for one night needed somewhere near railway station. First impression ok clean reception, rang for attention and was greeted and booked cab for early next morning. As I had an early appointment and always worry about not waking to my alarm asked if it was possible to have early morning call? The receptionist said that in that case she...
