I stayed for a weekend as part of a group at the Clayton on Lapps Quay. The hotel is very nicely decorated and maintained. We had a large room on the second floor with comfortable beds. There was a good selection of foods at the breakfast buffet. Staff were friendly and one of the waiters in the bar went out...

I should begin by listing the many positive memories of this hotel...foremost though: after looking back and reflecting on our stay, I can't think of a single downside, not even a small one. It was both a memorable and pleasant stay that started even before our arrival, thanks to Shelby Watson, the Guest Relations Manager. It is the small things...

This wasn't far from the bus station so I didn't have far to walk with my bags. First impressions were very good thanks to the receptionist, welcoming, informative and as my booking didn't have breakfast included she said if I wished to purchase a breakfast voucher to come back to her at any stage. Our room was a triple on...

We made a last minute booking to stay in the Clayton, just so we could be in walking distance of the city. We were not disappointed. The staff are all fabulous & couldn't do enough for us, super friendly but not in your face. We hardly left the hotel as it had everything we needed. Lovely seating areas in the...

Was very impressed with this hotel, on a previous visit in 2014 and this visit lived up to my expectations from the last time. Very efficient and friendly welcome from Siobhan on check in. Offered complementary bottles of water on check out. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Great choice at breakfast. Hotel perfectly located for exploring Cork city...

The rooms are modern and comfortable with good free wifi. Love using the gym and pool to unwind. Breakfast is also good, only downside is the restaurant, the food is...

Stay here whenever I'm in cork city as it's the friendliest hotel I've been to! Always find time for a quick session in the gym and the staff are class in their! Location is so handy too, literally about 1 min to Oliver Plunket St.
